In a nut shell, my supervisor scheduled an appointment on my lunch hour and I hobbled in tears into Dr. Mikes office. I received an in-house xray , diagnosis of sciatica, and a gentle adjustment. l walked pain free out of that office. He just needed to get the pressure off my spine. The $30 consultation fee covered a 3-minute conversation asking the same questions I'd filled out answers to on the paperwork which he didn't read. Although I expressed more than once it was my very first time to try acupuncture, he explained almost nothing about what to expect, then after getting the needles placed left me in the room for an hour. Having no idea when he was coming back, I was never able to fully relax as I anticipated his arrival at any minute. And actually at times I'd have an almost unbearable wave of pain that I hoped desperately he would come back to check on me. At the end he tried to sell me a package deal and talked poorly about other providers in town. I found him to be arrogant, condescending, and quite frankly sort of rude. This single visit cost me $190. He said his pricing is what it is, "because I'm awesome and my education was expensive." I'm angry at myself for having spent my hard-earned money on such a bad experience.

I just had an issue and had to change an appointment time for my 4 month olds 4 month appointment. The receptionist told me she couldn't get her in until October. I don't know how they would expect to just skip a 4 month appointment and vaccines. The receptionist seemed nonchalant about it. I understand he is booked but that seemed wild to me, and there is no cancellation list. I honestly asked if we needed to move somewhere else because I can't go to a ped that can't see my kids, and she responded "well that's up to you". So we will be scheduling and moving some place else. If they can't fit her In for vaccines I'm not sure what they would do if she was ill. So unfortunate because Dr. Warner is an excellent doctor and has been so helpful and understanding.

This location is situated on the corner of the new shopping center area between McDonalds and…read moreKroger. It can be seen on US 60 to your right or left depending on your travelling direction. I was bit hesitant to give them a try as there are a lot of fly by night offices popping up all over Ky. After reading some reviews I decided to give them a try. Pulling up you have plenty of spaces to park which is a plus. Going in you will have a seat and meet the receptionist, btw, don't forget your mask. Paperwork will have to be filled out and they have plenty of pens. This office lets you fill out your paperwork ahead of time by allowing you to download the form, fill it out and then email it back. This is awesome! The receptionist was very polite and answered every question that I threw at her. It was only 4-5 but I got the responses that I needed. The office area is very clean and smells good, you will notice this when you walk in. Depending on how busy they are, you will be taken around the corner by another person who I believe is Radiology Tech. You will have to take some x-rays of your teeth. This is accomplished in a few ways. The first is by scanning your whole head by putting your head in a machine while standing up. Don't worry if you are claustrophobic, it's all open and takes about a minter or two. Next you will be taken to a cubicle area with the main chair to sit in. I had to take a few more x-rays with a handheld machine that took another few minutes. The lady that was taking the pictures was also very nice and polite. She created small talk which helps ease certain people when visiting a Dentist. Around 5 minutes Dr. Eschenbach (DMD) entered and introduced himself. He asked a few questions as well as I. I got good vibes from speaking with Dr. Eschenbach and after a few more questions, I knew it was going to go well. The chair was tilted back and I was given some shades to put over my eyes. This IMO helps with the bright light and having anything to splash in your eyes while they are using flush and suction. Again, everything was clean. Instruments were in sterile packages as I know this from experience. Dr. Eschenbach was very gentle as well as the Radiology Tech that was helping. Never had this before as some will be kind of rough with your lips and having you to hold you mouth wider than needed for extended times. After sometime I was done and proceeded to pay my bill. Just a note, after initial inspection I was presented with the cost of what something extra would cost before it was done. This was pretty cool as you don't want any unexpected costs on your final bill. You also get a mirror when you are done so you can see the job that was done. Before I left, I scheduled a cleaning and said goodbye to the crew. This was a pleasant, painless experience and will continue to return going forward. Positives Clean Area Polite Gentle Up-to-date Equipment Negatives None as of yet.

The location of this new site is where the old Turfland Mall use to be. You park right in the parking lot without going up and around the garage like before. You don't have to pay $2.00 when you leave. That part alone is great. You miss all the UK campus traffic here also. This is a win win. The registration is a bit slow because they have a central registration system for all the offices in the building, but once you are through registration it moves quite quickly. They also seem to have made everything paperless, which is super nice. I was in and out in no time. They also have a Lab and Xray onsite. What more could you want?

Today, Dr. Simon examined my daughter, and I understand you need to get close to do an examination, but he had his legs spread and was so close to her on the chair that her knees were touching between his legs. He stayed like this even after the examination while he was talking to me, and this made me very uncomfortable. In hindsight, I wish I had asked him to move, but was just kind of waiting for him to and he never did until the very end of the appointment. The worst part, is that while he was in that position, he asked my daughter how she got sick. She explained that she thought she got it from her best friend, a girl in her class, and he said, "I know how you REALLY got it. From your boyfriend." And leaned in towards her face and made a bunch of kissing noises. I couldn't believe he would say this to a six-year-old girl. It was wildly inappropriate. Not to mention, he grabbed my hand while it was rested on my lap while explaining my daughter's treatment to me... Until now, this has been a truly wonderful practice. I've always been happy with the treatment my daughter has received, but this situation made me so uncomfortable that I'm switching to another provider immediately.
