Somehow it took them an hour, even though I was the only one there. Then they told me I failed the inspection because all my tires are bad and I shouldn't be driving on them. They also said my suspension was about to break. They added, "Since you're already here, we can fix it for you," and quoted me around $2k. I left, went down the road, and got another inspection. It took just 12 minutes and I passed. They said my tires look basically new and there was nothing wrong with my suspension.

John was super easy to work with and puts a good face forward, he never lost track of me while handling a steady flow of incoming calls and he was cheerful when I dropped off at 7:30am a couple days later. no grumps, no excuses... yea! so off I went, down the street to get some breakfast. got a call after a bit saying they couldn't complete the work because the inner tie rods and lower ball joints need attention. which sounds mostly reasonable since the ball joints are the only things that haven't been replaced in the last ten years. no pressure, just let them know if/when it gets done... so I get to do some front end work over the weekend and we'll have another go at this :-\ so all that happened today was an oil change. completely not their fault they couldn't get to the rest of it... turns out the tie rod ends are okay but the ball joints are bad enough for two or three additional parts. seriously, close to 1/4" of slop in those things, amazing that they didn't come apart on their own just sitting there... so the little white truck is back together and I can afford to have the alignment done! everyone wins!!

I told myself I would never step foot in this shop again. ​Fast forward to recently: my Buick Encore needed a brake job. My dad has worked on cars his entire life and can fix practically anything, but with how computerized modern vehicles are now, we ran into an unexpected roadblock. I checked their website and noticed the team and leadership appeared completely turned over, backed by strong recent reviews, so I decided to give them a second chance. ​I am so glad I did. The experience was incredible from start to finish. I worked directly with Chris, who was completely transparent, fair on pricing, and followed through on every single promise. I brought my truck in for a routine alignment. After the service was completed, I was told they couldn't recalibrate my truck, possibly because it was "too hot" and needed to cool down. They handed me the keys and told me to take it to the dealer. As it turns out, the actuator had to be replaced. Fortunately, my truck is still under warranty; otherwise, this would have been a $3,500 repair. I truly regret taking my truck here. "Honest" appears to be in the name only. I will also be following up with Costco about having them removed from its approved service shop list.

in for AC work on recommendation except they've moved to a new location since carl had his car in…read moreand now it's that much closer to work. neat! so I stopped on the way home and made arrangements to have the air serviced the following day. we got back with the gold car in time to hand over the keys as they were locking up, exchanged pleasantries, and said good night. got a phone call the following morning saying they couldn't find a leak but there must be one since it took a bunch of refrigerant. did the money-for-services exchange and the air blows a bit cooler now plus there's a colorant going roundy-round what ought to show up around the icky part(s) sooner rather than never unless the AC just fixes itself in which case I'm going to have them take a look at my house next ;-) this place still has the new shop smell (plus popcorn) and I don't know if it's had enough time to get seriously mucked up yet but clean is clean... so it's a couple days later and the air is still conditioned so now we sits and waits :-)
