No because like the average contractor around town, you can only use them for one or two jobs before he gauges what he thinks you can spend and doubles it! I do feel like he takes pride in his work but I'm tired of trying to develop good relationships with contractors just for them take advantage in the end. Professionalism always falls short as well. Our first experience we had a written estimate emailed before the work began. The 2nd and 3rd experience, we were promised a written estimate and did not receive it but we took our chances based upon text responses.

Unfinished Work, Poor Craftsmanship, and a False Lien Threat…read more I hired Ybarra Professional Builders to complete work in my home, including renovating the upstairs bathroom. While the project was technically completed, the quality was completely unacceptable. The bathroom sink leaks, and the grout in both the shower and floor is already coming up. I brought in licensed professionals to inspect the issues, and they confirmed the floor was improperly installed and the sink was not installed correctly either. Despite these clear defects, the company has refused to return and fix the problems. To make matters worse, I just received a Notice of Intent to File a Mechanic's Lien claiming I owe them $16,016.00--which is outrageous and completely false. They included charges for services they never performed, such as: Cabinet resurfacing (they did nothing to my kitchen cabinets) Interior painting (they partially painted my living room, which I already paid for--and even that was incomplete) I've kept all of my receipts and documented what was paid. I paid for the bathroom remodel, but it was done poorly and without accountability. There is absolutely no way they did $16,000 worth of work in my home. This feels like a scare tactic to get paid for work they didn't do or didn't do correctly. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They do not stand behind their work, and now I'm dealing with legal threats for charges that are clearly inflated and inaccurate. If you're considering using them--think twice and document everything. This experience has been stressful, costly, and incredibly disappointing.

Ybarra Professional Builders is a company that subcontracts jobs to multiple individuals without…read moretaking any responsibility for those jobs. I was approached by Ethan who was charismatic, personable and seemed to care about the project I was interested in. I wanted pavers on my driveway and a new concrete patio. Everything seemed to go well, perhaps taking a little longer than expected (but that was ok). The trouble started when the work was done. The ground settled and a tiny crack formed in the concrete. I contacted them in April to discuss the crack and puddling on the paver driveway. We got no response until May. Ethan finally said he would send someone to look at it. They came and within a couple of weeks two workers were here to fix the problems. Unfortunately, they made a bigger mess and eye sore than the original damage. I texted Ethan again with pictures of the "corrected" work and has since not heard from him or any representative from the Ybarra Professionals. I am very frustrated and disappointed that this happened. The only reason I am writing a public review is with the hope that Ybarra Professionals respond to my many calls and text messages.

I found her company so late in the game. She came on our final finish-out before listing our home. Everyone that entered our home took great care to respect the floors and walls that didn't need work. Everyone was kind, skilled and willing to do any job from caulking to painting and they always cleaned the areas perfectly after. It's like they were never here except everything looks fresh and new. Every paint line is perfect. Every caulk line is perfect. What a great experience! I recommend this company above any other painter we have worked with in a very long and drawn-out renovation. And we had many! We have had terrible painters and we have had decent painters. This crew was beyond expectations. For value: 100% worth every penny. She wasn't the cheapest bid. But, we learned the hard way cheapest isn't always best. She wasn't the most expensive either! She clearly knew what she was doing when she priced the job and she came through 100%. BONUS: The crew showed up on time every day without fail. One week of finish-out painting. Not fun work. They were Never late. Not once. And, after COVID, that is impossible to find. Clearly the crew are taken care of well by the business. What a great experience at the end of an exhausting renovation. Thank you Liliana and crew!!! I've posted your company on my neighborhood FB page and I hope you get tons of business! Yelpers: I would post pics but this was all detail work and would show the true care and talent in photos!
