I was using my son's truck and noticed the windshield "low" warning on the screen of the control panel. It was raining and the left windshield wiper was as shredded and worthless. So I decided to help the young man out. I was immediately greeted on coming in by Dillion. Gave me excellent advice on below temp RainX brand windshield wiper fluid and a great set of Bosch wiper blades. The store is clean and organized and is well stocked. That would be a solid 4 Star review in my book, but while I was in the parking lot, trying to put on the wiper blades, I was having difficulty. Dillon happen to be leaving the store and look to be heading home. It was raining. Dillion walked right up and said can I help? He quickly popped off the old blades and helped me slide on the new ones. This is an excellent employee for AutoZone. I hope they know what they have because that earn them a 5 star from me. She used a diagnostic tool to find the problem and we headed back into the store to 'read' the findings - low tire pressure. Sarah didn't just send me on my way. After showing me where to find the tire pressure in the door of my car, she checked the pressure of each tire. That would have been nice to know the first time i was in there. I took a set and said I was going to try to put them on before I paid for anything. Again, no one offered to help. I could not get them on so had to drive without them. Chivalry is completely dead at this location and customer service is non-existent.

Their machine shop is where the numbers matching motor for my 65 was sent to be worked. It took months to get the motor and heads back from them and when it was put back together it only lasted 700 miles before their mistakes caused it to spin a bearing and have to be rebuilt again. So, it took multiple months again to get them to fix their mistakes at which point they thought they should be paid again even though they claim that their work is warrantied. Needless to say, they were not paid the second time even though they continued to insist on it. Both times the motor had issues using excessive oil, which we just figured out the cause. Not only did they screw up the block and the crank, but we just discovered that they botched their work on the heads as well. The oil consumption is coming from the valves. So, this time the heads are being sent to a quality shop as I refuse to give Carquest the chance to make this matter even worse. If you value your motor, don't let Carquest touch it!!
