Generally it was okay. But certain service costs and parts prices are exorbitantly high. Last time around, I was told that a brake calliper was stuck. I asked if its okay if I dont replace it, as its not giving me any problems. So I was told that its fine. This time around, I was made aware of tge fact the the rotter and pads needs to be changed because of jammed calliper. And the pricing provided for replacement and labour was a not too high. Now, I will get them replaced from a shop with much better pricing. And I certainly want to reiterate the fact, that the advisor should have told me the last time, that jammed calliper would destroy the pads and calliper. Thanks read more

I had the worst experience of my life at this Meadowvale Honda dealership and I would not recommend them period. I hope you find my review useful as this really happened at to me at Meadowvale Honda dealership. My advise to you if you are looking at buying a car from this Meadowvale Honda is buyer beware, be vigilant and above all else be careful of the sales pitch they throw at you as what they say is not to be believed. Their prices are overinflated, they undervalue pricing by other car sales dealerships and when you challenge this with proof they have some excuse or another not to match the price! Their sales tactic is to sell and sell you more than you need .. 'we have this promotion going for just this weekend if you buy this and this and this we can offer you this package and that package .. what I would recommend to you is this is package together with this package ' then they lie through their teeth even when they look at you in the eye they lie. So it was Agreed in advance before going to the dealership which car I was interested in buying and likely to buy in their lot and the trade in I was looking for as I was offered this already and a slightly lower price on the car I was buying from them .. 'yes was the answer let's book a time to come the dealership' this was after I had sent in everything about my trade-in to the sales person I was dealing with before going to the dealership to test drive the car I wanted to buy! So there was full Disclosure on my part and agreement on what I was expect g on my trade in value before setting foot at the Meadowvale Honda dealership! After I test drove the car and going through the purchase with the salesperson, I was informed that no he can't take anything off the price on the car and no he were not going to offer the trade value that was discussed previously ! The sales person said this to my face even though the previous day he said nothing of the sort so in my opinion They are not to be trusted! Then to add to this he kept going back and forth to the manager to see if he can do better ... this is the normal sales tactic which I have seen before in time share sales which left me disgusted ! Then like they do in time share his floor manager joined the conversation with the sales person.. telling me what a perfect fit this car was for me and making some excuse which sounded so stupid as to why they now can't reduce the price on the car or give the trade value which was discussed previously yet they are willing to offer me the promotion packages which I would still have to pay extra for !! I told them Both that they wasted my time, that the sales person was not following through with what he discussed with me nor was he upfront in giving me the figures when I asked for them right at the beginning but was ghosting my questions and it was a 2 hours of a completely waste of my time! Later that day I get a message from the sales person ( this is the abbreviated version so that no names are disclosed for privacy) saying 'Thank you so much for coming in and spending time with me. It's unfortunate that we couldn't come to a conclusion today. Please be assured that our every intention is to make this deal happen for you but we are bound by some market pricing that we are unable to exceed or alter.... please reach out to me immediately... I picked the car 2 weeks back on the evening that I left for my vacation. After coming back from my vacation, realized that you didn't do the detailing that you agreed to do, which I am not at all happy with. I completely trusted you guys on that as it is written down and trusted that you will do as part of your delivery and based on the written comments on the purchase agreement. So now I did spend 149$ to do a thorough cleaning to remove the two stain spots from the driver and passenger seats and the dirt on the floor, the dust in air vents and food particles under the seat . Since you haven't done what we agreed on, I contacted the sales person regarding the detailing, this is what I received, "if you are still not happy with the Clean Up, let me know, We will do it again. We have already paid $250 to a third Party for Cleanup and will make sure they do it again and do what they missed'. Picked up my car last week and was on my way out when the GM himself together with his and Sales manager asked if I can have a moment with them in his office. They offered to give me a sort of an incentive just to complete the whole customer experience and give them a 100% positive feedback. I was asked what would make me happy and I told them exactly what that was. I was told that they would see what they can do and call me back before the day ends. Unfortunately, they never called back up until this writing. I honestly don't care if they give me what I wanted or not. I am already happy with the car that I got. When I contacted after fifteen days ( on receipt of card statement), their first response was, non accptance of double charge. Only I after I decided to dispute the charge with credit card company, they started to investigate and accepted the double charge after three days of investigation. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the 2022 Honda CRV EXL which i Picked up on February 10th 2024. To say I was very excited when I picked up the vehicle, but my excitement was cut short from February 13th 2024 when the battery issue started. I was shocked, but still, came to you and explained the issue and agreed to what we discussed and again had the same issue on Feb 16th 2024 after which the battery had been changed. I had observed another issue for some time and took it to Performance Honda today for checking the same. The issue was the driver seat is wobbling when I brake during driving. Performance Honda inspected the same and said that the Frame has to be Changed which really shocked me to the core. Within this short span of time after purchasing a vehicle I am facing lot of trouble. When I asked about the inspection you said everything has been inspected. This dealership was so disappointing, I had to review it. My wife was looking for a new car and had settled on the Honda Civic Hatchback. We have a family member and a friend driving Civic Hatchbacks. Nice lines and excellent cargo space. I agreed with her choice. Meadowvale Honda is the closest Honda dealer to our home, so we went there first. Should have read the reviews before going. Interesting that the recent good reviews are all written by persons who have each done only one review on Yelp. The bad reviews are written by people with many reviews, some in the hundreds. Makes you suspicious of the good ones. We entered the sales area, which feels quite sterile with many people in cubicles reminiscent of an insurance office. We stood looking at the salespeople for several minutes before anyone approached us. He came directly to me, stuck out his hand and introduced himself, pretty much ignoring my wife. I introduced her to him and made it clear that she was the one that was buying a car. But he continued to address himself to me and asked me all the questions about style, colour etc. He certainly wasn't very knowledgeable and had to go into a back room to speak to someone else several times in order to answer our questions. It would've been nice if the "someone else" had bothered to come out and speak to us. It was obvious from my wife's body language that she was not pleased with the salesperson's misogynist attitude and I was equally annoyed. When we left, we both, almost simultaneously, said we probably wouldn't be buying a car there. But that was a moot point; the salesperson had indicated he would check inventories at other dealerships to see if he could supply the model and colour we were looking for. Hi there, this is my first review of anything online. On Feb.24/24 my wife and I made an appointement over the phone to test-drive a Toyota Venza with Deepak at Meadowvale Honda. We arrived on time but we were told that he is dealing with another customer. We sat in a waiting area until he was ready. We were introduced to another employee who accompanied us on a test drive. After each question about the vehicle he responded with, "Sorry, I don't know because I sell Hondas." When we returned, we sat with Deepak for what turned out to be approximately one and a half hours. During that time I gave him my car key so that my car could be evaluated. For the one and a half hours I was there, I asked multiple times to get my car key back. When he asked what I wanted for my trade-in, he wrote it down in front of him, then asked me 2 more times what I wanted for my trade-in. When I asked him what the trade-in value was for the Venza he said that he didn't know. When I asked him who would know the value, he replied that it would be someone from a different department and he didn't know them. He brought over a manager to speak with us. The manager asked us how much we wanted for the trade-in. When I repeated my answer, the manager then wanted to have an additional manager come and speak with us. I asked again, for my car key and the manager said to Deepak to retrieve it for me. It was then that my wife and I left the dealership. As of the time of this writing, the vehicle is being advertised for a price lower than my offer with Deepak. So, if you are bored and want to spend time in a car dealership repeatedly answering their questions and enjoying the ambiance of large windows, polished vinyl flooring and continuous digital advertising, then I suggest you go to Meadowvale Honda. Believe the reviews! Absolutely no customer service. So when I first drive in, I get out of my car and wait, looking at the two reps that are there. One of the reps are not even dealing with anyone. Finally the rep with a customer tells me the guy (with no customer) on the end can help me. I'm pretty sure this guy saw my big car pull in and me standing there. I was one of two cars. Ugh. Anyways let's keep in mind I came in WITH an appointment on a Saturday morning. I've gotten my car serviced by Honda many times before so I figured the wait would be an hourish. So exactly at the one hour mark the service rep comes out and tells me my car is almost ready. Perfect! So time goes on....and on and on. I don't know what almost ready means to you, but to me that means 5-10 minutes. 45 minutes pass!! So I thought that was it, I'm going over to say something. So my rep is on the phone. Ok fine, Iiiii have courtesy, I won't interrupt. So I'm again waiting and waiting, I go to the other rep that's there hoping she can help. I express my frustration and she tells me I'm going to have to wait for my rep. Ugh. ALL this time I'm standing there waiting and the manager is sitting there doing NOTHING to help me. (I later saw on their website he was the manager). Finally my rep gets off the phone and I ask him if my car is ready. He goes and takes a look and said its down, looks like it's ready and figures they just have to drive it around. No sorry, no explanation on why it took so long. By the time I get my keys it was 2 hours of waiting time. 2 hours!!! It was JUST an oil change! I've gotten a B12 service in less time than that! I am NEVER returning. I am livid. Hmmm.... I am reading all the not so positive reviews here whilst waiting to order some parts for my Honda but still I said, let me give them chance... I return the next day to pick up the parts and on the way to the dealer, I get a low tire pressure warning on my new Accord. I realised that could have been caused by me changing my 19" summer tires over to the 17" snow tires. Whilst at the dealer, I head over to the service department and spoke to a service advisor and asked him how to reset the low tire pressure warning. He explicitly said you cannot do it. "We need to use a 'scanner' to reset it and it will cost $56!" WTF..... I then head back to my car, crack open the manual and do it myself. In 2 minutes flat. For free. Not a good sign. Stay away from these negligent scam artists. 2 stories: 1a. Took in my Accord for repair. The body shop estimated 7 days to fix. So I was given a loaner from Discount rental. Meadowvale Honda would cover costs of rental. 1b. Months later, Discount charged me for the rental. It took me close to one month to get my money back. MH was less than helpful in the effort, and continuously blamed the rental company. 2a. Bought a used Civic recently. Took the car home. Next morning, realized 2 of the 3 keys did not work. 2b. Brought keys and car back to MH. The service team was less than helpful. Finally told me that the 2 keys that did not work, belonged to a DIFFERENT car altogether. How this could have happened is beyond me. It's mind blowing. I recommend that buyers/sellers/customers looking for a service centre, look elsewhere. MH is disorganized, negligent and unable to compete in a market that requires some level of professional attitude. read more

I called Meadowvale Honda to get my wife's driver side window fixed, since it wouldn't roll up and stay on the track properly. I later found out that their price quoted was $150 more than another dealer charged to do the same thing. I called them about it and the service manager wouldn't let us out of the $110 deposit, even though she didn't even have the part in stock!! At that point, we hadn't even left a deposit, but they had our car, so they said we had to pay their deposit regardless or we don't get the car back.With that, all she would do is match the other dealer's price. Now on my wife's day off my, she dropped the car off for the rescheduled work at 10:30 in the morning for work that should have been two hours, but instead it was put into a queue to wait all day. At 4:00 after hearing nothing for hours, my wife called them and asked if the window work was done, she was told that it was done and they were sending a shuttle driver to pick her up. At 5:00, she called them back and told her that they ran into some trouble and are still working on it. Hmm, not so honest are we? I would rate them with a half star if it was possible, just to still be able to rate them. 1 Star is too high. Save yourself the aggravation in going there! It's ridiculous and obvious they're overpriced and don't care about or know how to serve customers. read more

Later when they asked for the payment, and we argued with them and spoke to the service manager, Kenny who was even worse. He was unprofessional, rude and did not help us whatsoever!! It's funny because you look at their profile description the website and it says they both are knowledge ale and have great customer service yet I received nothing of that like. We ended up paying for the falsely charged service as they would not let us leave. Unsatisfied I wrote a letter to Honda head office, and basically they redirected me BACK to Kenny. Horrific Customer Service! I cannot list how many times I tried to get a manager and all the times I was blocked from doing so. This included being hung up on "accidentally". Today, I wrote a letter to Dilawri (the owner of this dealership) and outlined the terrible customer service where no one called me back despite several attempts on my part. I even sent them my call log from my cell to show how many times I had called. These people are ridiculous and should be fired. They only deal with what is easy for them. Just bought a new Pilot and made the mistake of having my service done from them a couple of times because they were near where I live. What a mistake. Both occasions it literally took twice as long as stated it would take. An hour and a half for an oil change? Really? Also, although they may claim being family and customer service friendly they don't even have change tables in their washrooms for when you are forced to change your infant because you have been waiting there so long. They should learn there is more to customer service than free donuts. Spoke to the customer service manager, as he said he would "look into it". Gee, thanks. It makes it all better. Though my sales person did great job in closing the sale with firm sale price. Thanks to CFO Syed Armughan he got me approved from the Honda Finance. I went to the dealership for the oil change, how ever i had been told that my ATF is dirty at ODO 46000 KM and need urgent flush. I agreed with the service advisor after 10 minutes they handed over me the car claiming all the services a- Engine Oil / Filter Change b- Automatic Transmission fluid Change with Honda OEM Fluids c- Break fluid flush Few weeks later when the ODO meter was around 52000 KM I just by chance checked the ATF fluid it was brownish in color as compare to their Light Golden Tint color Fluid by Honda. I fail to understand how come upon agreeing with the customer they could flush the ATF in ten minutes and hand over the car to the customer. I carefully looked at the invoice the parts are not expensive however they charged me $170 for the labor entire invoice was $ 280 including Engine Oil, Filter, ATF and Break fluid. One of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. My husband and I made the drive out to Meadowvale Honda from Bowmanville as a friend had recommended it to us. Aren't we glad we made the trip. We were greeted at the door by a very smiley and friendly lady that immediately asked us how she could help us today. She had the finance manager greet us in the lobby and escorted us to his office where we had coffee and meet our salesperson. Our salesperson engaged in light conversation with us as to figure out what our needs were and what we were looking for. We had mentioned that we were interested in the 2015 Civic. The salesperson left us to finish our coffee in the warmth of the building as he went and retrieved a 2015 Civic for us to test drive. He made sure the car had warmed up before we got in as it was a very cold day.The salesperson was very knowledgeable in all of the functions and controls of this vehicle not only did he answer all of our questions, he made sure to show us all of the features of this beautiful car. My husband and I had never used a back-up camera before so the salesperson explained its function and even had us try it out a few times to get the hang of it and see the benefits of the feature. We were escorted back inside to discuss the purchase with the Finance Manager where we were greeted with more coffee and offered some donuts and\or something to eat. We sat down and were made very comfortable and relaxed. We discussed the purchase in depth and had the very informative advice from the finance manger who knew what we needed. It can be very stressful to discuss such a large purchase but the financing manger made it as easy and stress free as possible with options and suggestions. We decided to have the remote start installed so we picked up the car the next day. The next day we were greeted by both the salesperson and finance manager who shared in our excitement. Our car was ready for us just a few moments after arriving, the sales person and finance manger joined us outside on a very cold day to introduce us to our new car, we even had a picture taken with our new addition that they had suggested. We were very pleased with this suggestion as we did not think of it but we are glad we got it. Our salesperson even helped both of us set up our phones with the Bluetooth and went over the controls with us again to ensure we were going to be comfortable with our drive home. Thanks to Meadowvale Honda they have a great team! We would also like to mention our sales person Zulfi and Finance manger Kevin we will definitely be sending all of our friends and family to Meadowvale Honda to see them for the amazing customer service they offer. I booked my car to be serviced through the internet. It needs a new door sensor. I showed for appointment, which was the week after it was booked. I waited for five hours for them diagnose the problem, only for them to tell me in the end that they did not have the part to fix it. Unacceptable. If only they had inform me that I would be looking at a long wait before I showed up at the dealership, I would have understood and re-booked. Otherwise what is the point of booking an appointment. Unfortunately I came to yelp too late after a number of bad experiences. Went to this dealer out of convenience instead of the dealer where I bought my 3 Hondas, this was my first mistake. Bad experience 1 - had low tire pressure in two front tires of my Honda Fit. Brought it to Meadowvale Honda they looked at, diagnosed it, "fixed it", charged me and sent me on my way. Sitting in my driveway the next morning was my Fit with 2 flat tires. They admitted their error and did the work right the second time. Bad experience 2 - my wife ran over a nail and we had a leak in our Odyssey, tire. I brought it into these folks as we were leaving the next day for our family vacation and a road trip that would cover about 6K kms including some pretty remote areas where service centres can be few and far between. I explained this and said for my family's safety it was critical we get the fix right. They plugged it and said not to worry it would be fine. Of course at my first fill up 3 hours outside of Toronto its nearly flat. It's the weekend and no service is available so I drive the next 1800 kms having to stop every 300 kms to fill it. The good folks at the first Honda dealership I find during my vacation replaced my tire and said any technician who said a plug would suffice didn't know what they were talking about. A voicemail to the service manager was never returned. Bad experience 3 - my wife was purposefully mislead by their employees to believe a minor fix would be covered by warranty but if there was nothing wrong we'd be responsible for the cost of the diagnostic. I told her, especially since they already told her there was an obvious problem, to go ahead (I've been told the same thing on 4 different occasions by Classic Honda and not once was there a charge - BTW if you're looking for a great Honda service location go there). Sure enough they charge her and said there was nothing wrong with it. When I complained loudly and long enough they wrote off half but there should never have been any charge. Sorry for the long write up but lots of negativity to share about this service department. Avoid them at all costs! This is not typical in my experience of Honda quality. I wouldn't trade my Odyssey, Accord, and Fit fir anything other than other Honda vehicles. I can't help feeling that if Honda Canada was aware if the lack of quality at the dealership they would have to answer for it. Just realized not surprisingly I've never been asked to complete a customer sat survey for these guys. Go figure. read more
