This place is BEAUTIFUL and GORGEOUS. Our wedding was in May 2016 and the weather was perfect. Vera and Danny are amazing people (as well as their son Dustin that I got to meet). They are very patient, very respectful, and very helpful. I could not make up my mind on centerpieces (we made our own and needed a little more "pop"). Vera sat with myself and fiance and showed us many different options. There is SO much information and things to be done, but Vera does majority of the work and she lets you know what you as the bride/groom need to do. She answers emails very quickly and I had no issues before, during, or after our wedding. The wedding director (i think Stephanie) was great. I did not have any issues with her. I highly recommend this place for a beautiful and unforgettable wedding. It is VERY MUCH worth the money! With the beauty and amazing decorations there are a few down falls. The parking lot and parking is not great. It is just a big field full of sand and weeds. It is hard to decide how to park, where to park, and hope you don't get blocked in. There is a sign about no profanity, no drinking (unless the bride and groom have paid for their security guy to sit in on the reception), you cannot have certain music/songs played at the reception (they will tell you what is and isn't allowed) among some other don'ts. The kitchen is small, but there is a fridge and freezer, a lot of utensils you are allowed to use in case you forget something. I was able to look past all the "not likable" things because this place is just gorgeous and after pricing all things separate (engagement photo session/photographer/dj/lighting/ catering, etc) this place was the perfect venue because they have it all bundled into one price, AND you get a wedding coordinator as well. read more

Vera and Danny are absolutely amazing! Leaving aside that they run an all-inclusive wedding venue, from table and chair rentals, to catering, to decor, to photography; they are just incredible people who want to make your special day unique and stress-free. My husband and I planned our wedding from Virgina, and Vera and Danny were there to send us photos of different decor and catering options, so that things would run much smoother once we got into town and buckled down for the big day. I felt so welcomed by them and knew they were focused on nothing more than making sure we were happy with the outcome of the day. On the day of, between the two of them, and the included wedding director, they even kindly made sure we ate dinner ourselves. (Cause every one knows the couple doesn't typically eat!) I had to plan near next to nothing outside the venue because they're so amazingly on top of it and gracefully respected any wishes I had about the day of, fully. I cannot recommend any business I've ever dealt with more than I can Meadows @ Creative. Not only are they so above and beyond, they care about their couples. They makes sure everything is 110% in everything they do, and their photography= OMG!! If you're in the West Texas area, anywhere near Abilene, it is most certainly worth the drive to have them take care of your big day! read more

Our over all experience at The Meadows was wonderful. Although, in hindsight, there are some pictures I wish we had, our pictures were amazing. I felt that the entire experience was simplified by having a venue that supplied so much. It cut down on our overall cost immensely. Vera and the wedding director (her name escapes me) were great at calming my nerves when things went slightly off rails. There is only one thing I can think of that could be improved. The Bride's cabin is nice but my party complained about having to walk all the way to the Hall just use the bathroom. I know how difficult and costly it would be to add plumbing, but it was inconvenient. Would I recommend this venue, absolutely. read more

I simply give 5 stars because honestly they couldn't have done better. You need something on reception, They are on it. Vera and Bree went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of the day of the wedding. Danny's photos always turn out amazing and Dustin, the caterer, the food was to die for. Danny and Vera were WONDERFUL. Everything was so stress free and they are such calm people. Nothing is rushed and time limited. Everything is casual and with the flow! If you'd like you can show up with just yourself your dress and your cake! YES! It's all inclusive and wonderful! No place can compare to how much stress is taken off by having all of the vendors in one package! They include the wedding planner the photography the decor and even with the top package the food. Danny and Vera are the nicest people! I was stressed about decor the morning of the wedding because I had not finished setting up the night prior, but when I got to the venue, Vera had already set everything that I forgot up for me and it was beautiful. Danny and Vera made the entire wedding process a breeze for me. I had never even been to a wedding before planning my own so I was extremely nervous to say the least. We didn't get married at the Meadows, but Danny and Vera were our wedding photographers in 2008 and we've had photos done with them every year since, many of them at the Meadows. They always turn out beautifully and Danny and Vera are great with our kids. We recommend them anytime anyone asks about photographers in the area. read more
