My tee time was later in the afternoon so I planned on eating lunch at the pub but it didn't open up until 1pm...on a Friday? They had a small place around the corner of the range that had hot dogs as the only warm food choice and snacks. After the round I went to check out the pub. The atmosphere was cool with a bunch of TV's and live music. I went with the bartender's recommendation of the pizza and was disappointed. It took way too long and the pizza wasn't worth the wait. Not enough sauce, taste or cooked crispy enough. Plenty of better and more reasonable choices for dinner in the area. Two light beers and personal pizza was $30.

It was delicious i loved the raspberry oat bars and the brownies. I talked with the owners and they said they change their menu based on the season. I've heard they have good breakfast bowls too. However, it is also a museum of sorts. For starters, it is one of the only historic homes I've visited where majority of the framework, fisxtures, furnishings and finishing are the originals from when the home was constructed. It costs $10/person to view and you have free reign to walk about the entire house to see and learn about the different aspects of it. The house was deeded to a preservation society and there are volunteers in each room waiting to enlighten the visitors on the house's history. It was fully decorated for the Christmas season with lavish trees and ornaments everywhere. It was a lot, but very tasteful.
