We were told our apartment would be ready to move-in by our requested date, but no changes were made to the place. Had a couple broken shelves in the closets, our washer/dryer were never stacked like it was originally promised, and a few other things. It's been almost a month since we moved in, and the most we have had fixed was an outlet that was warped... it is now just a little less warped. We were told that since we pay for luxury, we get the "luxury experience." In the wise words of my partner, this place was "made con saliva." TL:DR Cool place to look at, but a lot of problems underneath the hood. For the price they charge, you can do better elsewhere.

When we got one of our bathrooms fixed, they never installed the handles to fix the master bedroom shower. I was basically living here for free, my mom was responsible for the rent payments. The landlord was stubborn, she wouldn't even listen to what my mom had to say to her. I don't know if it was just us or maybe it happened to anyone else that used to live here. My brother lived with us until 2022 and he helped my mom out with the rent. If anyone is looking to rent an apartment, don't rent from these people! They are so ignorant.

Ruth informed me that I will not be getting an answer today because The landlord will not be in today I said OK although that was an inconvenience for me I chose to wait, I called back the day after and someone rudely answered and said "Kevin you have to wait until noon because the landlord still isn't in yet" now at this point I was told I'd be getting a follow up call within 24 hours it's now been two days I finally got a callback from Ruth and she gives me a strange story About me having to fill out a release, so that my current landlord can provide rental information to this company I was frustrated because I filled out the application in person and was not given a release or did not explain to me that a release needs to be signed she said it was on the application but I signed the application and she went over the application in front of me and didn't say anything about a discrepancy about a missed signature so it was a lie I even contacted my current landlord and ask them have they heard from town and country apartments requesting my rental information and my landlord informed me that they were not notified by any other rental property to receive my information but they would but they would be happy to release my information to help me out. When I called Ruth back and informed her that I in fact can have my landlord fax the information over to her. Ruth rudely said "you can have your deposit back" she is the most unprofessional woman I have ever met, she is a snake and I will file a complaint with the Mass Attorney General's office. This elderly witch does not deserve to be in position of helping tax payers find homes. The walls are super thin, enough so that you can hear every move your neighbor makes, yes every move! From walking to the bathroom and turning on the shower to phone calls with their lawyers about some drug deal that went down that they were involved in or you can have the pleasure of living below the psycho I had and you can hear her get into physical altercations with her boyfriend which was just awesome after working for 10 hours or the typical swearing at her son that was done pretty much daily. There is mold growing in the windows and AC units and complain all you want but no one calls you back to fix this issue. You don't actually have a person to call if something go's down, you just call and leave messages, for real! One voicemail gives you a number to a different voicemail for emergencies and then I believe there is another number to call if it's a super emergency. You also send your rent to a P.O. box which always struck me as kind of odd, so no problems ever get taken care of because no one is around. It got a lot worse once they allowed section 8 in there, you basically have people running around at all hours of the day/night making all kinds of noise because they never have to work and the people who do work just have to put up with it because and I quote "their rent is always paid because the government pays it so there isn't much I can do" That's cool. No really that's cool. As soon as I was able to find a place closer to Boston I left. So in a nut shell, if you work a lot and enjoy a nice quiet mold free place where there is an actual person on the grounds to help if there is a problem or at least a number to call where someone actually answers then I suggest you look elsewhere!

My life has improved just from living in this building!! Central heat and A.C., Dishwasher, Tons of parking.... there are even washing machines and dryers IN THE APARTMENTS!!! (I hate the laundrymat, so this part was the big selling point for me) I read reviews where people complained of noise, I NEVER hear my neighbors! I read reviews where people said the management and maintanence folks can be "mean", "rude", or "intimidating"....Completely untrue!!! Whenever I call the office about a problem, whoever answers the phone (usually Lisa I believe) is extremely kind, and whatever the problem is, it's taken care of in a day or 2 (sometimes within a few hours). Mike the maintenece guy is really nice too, when our washing machine overflowed, he came and took care of the problem immediately, and when our floors dried a day or two later, he put the carpets back down, and set up all the furniture exactly the way it was before the overflow (right down to the smallest detail) We have a few neighbors who are too lazy to bring their trash to the dumpsters and let it pile up in the bottom floor stairwells and a few more neighbors who park like idiots, but neither of those problems are building managements fault. If you want a nice, affordable apartment in a building with a friendly staff, a lot of parking spots and a ton of amenities, this is the place!

Unfortunately I wasn't aware of my tenant rights at that time and because of this, I thought I had to move last minute. I had to use that rent for that last month and apply it to my new place first months and deposit. I understood that there was going to be a balance for Oasis. Out of good faith I got situated with my finances and was ready to pay that balance off. When I went to do so, I noticed there were extra charges other than the rent owed. There were also charges for the usual wear and tear after being in a apartment for a few years. Cleaning and having to patch up the walls and repaint when a tenant has been living at a place for a while is pretty standard and tenants are not usually charged for this however , Oasis are charging me for every appliance in that apartment as "damaged". The electric stove has scratches from wear and tear from moving pans and pots from one burner to another it also has some burn stains. Now I'm disputing them against these "damaged appliance" claims. How does one live in an apartment where the stove is "damaged", the refrigerator is "broken", the dishwasher and dryer and washing machine are also "damaged"? Don't let a few good reviews fool you. This property is not managed well they raise rent yearly at an extremely high rate and then when you move out you're going to be charged for things other than normal wear and tear. Be cautious.

Their solution was to just repaint the ceiling instead of dealing with the reason for the leak so we continually had mold in our bathroom. Kitchen appliances were filthy when we moved in, yet when you move out they expect it to spotless or they will keep your deposit and then charge you extra. They ignore real complaints (like the whole apartment building smelling like weed because someone is smoking it in their bathroom and all the vents are connected) and instead focus on silly ones (like not putting out cigarettes out on their newly paved walkway because it was leaving marks that would go away when it rained). For the amount they charge now, its not worth it and the owner is terrible. Her secretary is lovely, but the actual owner is the worst landlord I have ever had.

Should have been a dead giveaway when my bathtub was filling up when i took my first shower, only to plunge the drain and for a massive clump of the woman's hair who lived in the apartment before I moved in to come out of the drain. There are homeless junkies doing their best to fight gravity in the downtown area at all hours, they're disruptive at night, sometimes hostile, and not afraid to walk up to you and bother you while you're trying to walk your dog. Sometimes they scream rap lyrics outside your window at 3 AM while they hangout waiting for the bus to nowhere at the station adjacent to the building. You'll also get to know their names, because they're constantly screaming at each other from far away while they look for each other in the woods near the building, they're like your neighbors, how fun. That methadone clinic doing the 5 minute appointments up the street must be booming with business. Parking is a joke. There are not enough spots for the tenants and the street parking is aggressively ticketed with completely predatory parking laws. Funny how the cops do nothing about the junkies, but ticket you for being 6 inches off the curb. THE ATTLEBORO POLICE ARE A COMPLETELY USELESS AND THEY SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. I can confirm the information from the other review on here when it comes to the property manager parking in handicapped spaces. Several times I called to have cars towed out of the handicapped spaces in the parking lot because my father is handicapped and he had nowhere to park when he wanted to visit. The only thing consistent about the trash service they provide is that it was so inconsistent that the hallways were just full of trash all the time. People's dogs shit in the hallways and elevators and those tenants are never reprimanded. Nothing is enforced, people play pool obnoxiously in the common area sometimes until 3 AM Here's the biggest thing: The HVAC :: was wondering why my bills were super high and why the air was always running in the winter. We had them come check it out with the 3rd party vendor they use for HVAC issues. My air filter was completely black and had clearly never been replaced before we moved in. The thermostat's wires that connected it to the heat pump were backwards. The thermostat was also inaccurate. There are also fans that you have no control over (above the oven, and in the bathrooms)... that suck the heat and cool air you pay for right out of your apartment... Management persistently argued about this with me, and I think at the end of the day they gave me $200 in rent compensation to offset the absurd bills I paid, which didn't nearly cover the damage whatsoever. The property manager that parked in the handicapped spaces also lied about handling my mail, which they are not supposed to do. We had a package that said it was delivered, but when I checked the package room it wasn't there. When I inquired about this, she told us to check again, and it was there, but no package delivery service came in that window, I know because my room mate was walking the dog and saw her move the package from her office to the mail room. She lied about this... why? just say you handled my package and left it in the office, you weirdo. This goes right in line with the fact that she parked in handicapped parking spaces... just total creep psychopath behavior. I wonder what other weird stuff she does. I know the likelihood of the train being completely inaudible from my apartment would be unlikely... but the woman who sold us the unit said that the windows and walls were sound proof so I would never hear it... what a lie that was. If you live on the side of the building across the street from the train, be ready to wake up at 5:00 AM every weekday :) There's also constant overnight work on the Amtrak line. Don't live here, they're charging $1000 over what renting an apartment in this building should cost and I can't believe they didn't fire that woman for parking in handicapped spaces... multiple people reported it. As a cherry on top, when I was moving out it was pouring rain and one of the lovely junked out Attleboro unhoused sat down in the parking garage right near the truck I was loading up and unfolded his lawn chair... so I had to move everything without the help of my friend, who had to stay stationed at the car to make sure the guy didn't steal or defecate on my things.

Let's start off that they're asking way too much money for the apartments and the area. The parking is absolutely horrendous with each owner only getting one spot. If someone parked in your spot, they will do absolutely nothing and they will not tow anyone. Gail the old property manager is very unprofessional, rude and talked down to everyone. She is very quick to send you an email about someone parking in someone's space, but see how she parks, In a handicap halfway in and out of it (see pic). The new property manager Érica is just as bad or even worse than Gail. Every time someone goes in there to complain about what's going on on the property both Gail and Erica shut their door and pretend that they're not there, leaving Annabelle to field all the questions .The management company always gives an excuse why they can't do something. The building stinks of weed, the elevator is always trashed with spilled liquid all over the floor, the door key fob locks are all broken, front door lock system broken(see pics)that are open all night and you can see sprinkler pipes that are exposed due to not maintaining the flowerbeds and putting mulch down. The management states that it's a dog friendly apartment building but there's nowhere to take your dog to use the bathroom(signs all over no dogs in shrubbery beds). Instead, you have to walk across the street to the park where there are homeless and drug addicts hanging out everywhere. The homeless and drug addicts are now hanging out in the garage area by the elevators trying to get into the building or shooting up herion. One night I was going to recycling room and tripped over a homeless man sleeping on cardboard in the room. I notified the management, and they still have not fixed the key fob so it remains open.(see pics). The whole area is very unsafe due to aggressive, homeless. The dumpster is constantly filled to the brim and bags are laying out in front of it causing rodents to go back-and-forth from the wooded area to eat the garbage.(see pics). The emergency maintenance call I've use three times, and all three times have given me an excuse that they can't come out and the maintenance will take care of it in the morning. What is the sense of having them? Again I reported it to property management and they gave me an excuse and did nothing about it. One of my friends lives in a one bedroom apartment there, he lost heat during the winter. The maintenance could not fix it so they tried to give him a space heater. When he complained, they told him if he doesn't like it to move out. This place is totally disgusting......do not move here.
