it's smoke and mirrors --oh the list is long... But in a nut shell-- the sales team over sells (…read morelike a 1970's used car salesman) and the company completely UNDER delivers...in most of the restaurants the servers are usually all terrific-- BUT--Esmeralda NEEDS to go. Online marketing promotes a "55" plus community but one can't buy or live with someone unless you're"62"⁉‍. Such a bunch BS everywhere you turn. They haven't finished things for new move-ins and can't maintain what they have, but yet they are discussing starting construction on buildings 4,5. They have hundreds of residents and new moving all the time yet they only have 1 part-time IT person abuse experience is on the job training-- after being promoted from the dining room. The Maitenance man who is doesn't "maintain anything just try's to help fix things and then makes things wise. Not really trained or credentialed. His previous employment/experience is a forklift driver. Often leaves thing in worse condition than before he starts something. Doesn't have the correct tool for putty or calling do he uses his finger. The management/"establishment" takes complete advantage of the residents financially at every possible tiny opportunity. In the breakfast restaurant if you wasn't to buy an extra piece of toast it will really cost you...$1.99‼insane. When Covid-19 started to spike again in early 2022 masks were again required in common areas and it was suggested/requested that masks be N or KN95, which they the made available in the on site market for a mere $40.00 for 10 pieces-- so much more reasonably priced to purchase a package online. So unnecessary to price gauge residents. For having residents hundreds of residents in almost every bldg. they only provide 2 handicap parking spots but residents event with proper credentials are not allowed to park in them --yet there is no signage stating such a policy, no such policy is stated at closing, but apparently if your family pitches a big enough fit, or more likely as suggested or speculated by several residents your family pays Austin under the table you can park there and never leave the door for months at a time without repercussions or proper State issued tags. One of the more disappointing experience of many residents -- the word is out that if you complain to management about Anything you are black listed as a "Diva" and it becomes very uncomfortable to continue to live in the community. If you decided that you world king to move to another unit or building , it currently will cost you approximately $10k for getting another unit move in ready even though your current unit was never finished in more that a half a year and your unit has messed and in finished items from your original walk-through.

After my husband died I knew that I did not want to stay there. Fortunate for me I have the means to make the move. They don't let you know how long it will take for you to get your money back. ONE TO ONE AND A HALF YEARS. I am 78 years old, a widow and I have Parkinsons. A year and a half of waiting is a year and a half that I don't have $450.000 that would be much needed as my disease progresses. There are people living in SV that feel trapped. They would love to make a move but it is impossible for them.

He was the longest resident as of his passing July 9, 2025 at the young age of 97 years old. We want to sincerely thank Jode and Adysen and all the incredible people at Sagewood but mainly those in assisted living (Mountain View) for their extraordinary care they gave my dad-in-law. Jode and Adysen, in particular, have cared for him as if he were family, showing endless patience, warmth, love and attentiveness. We never needed to worry when we were not around. There are no words to fully express what these two, Jode and Adysen, along with the font desk personnel and the amazing beautiful staff at Sagewood team mean to our family. They are and always will be our family. We are profoundly grateful for all the love and kindness they have shown us and dad throughout the years. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything. It is the best place to place a parent in Utah. We looked for a place where my dad-in-law could keep his same friends all the ways through, which is exactly what happened in those 10 years. From independent living - to - assisted living. He was so happy the entire time he was there. We love everyone at Sagewood. Thank you!

By Thanksgiving, she was in full swing of all the activities and fun. They even have vendors, like Scentsy, come in from time to time so residents can shop. The care is top notch. They have a registered nurse on site, and a dedicated staff. Fun games and social hour, movies, concerts, and tons of bus rides. Sadly because of Covid19, visitors were limited, as per CDC guidelines, but, we knew mom was safe and cared for. We did FaceTime and window and patio visits. My family highly recommends Sagewood!

To find out, there is a lot of families out there that has gone out going through this with one of their love ones. It was very tough for me at first. I tried so hard to let my mom stay with me during her transition and dealing with the illness. It was not just hard on me but also hard on my wife and kid. Was so worried to leave her alone because didn't want her to do anything to hurt herself. I tried getting a Inhome care for her while we was at work. It did help us out a little, but then when we got home from work it was tough because we had to give her all of our attention. I finally decided after she was approved for Medicaid and social security that I'll would put her in a memory care facility. It was best for her And my family. It was a lot safer that way. She can get all the cars she needed 24/7 . If something was to happen, at least there was someone there to help her. So I looked around town at many many places and visited them. Carrington court was the one for her. It's like a hotel when you first walk in. Tina was awesome when I came to check out the place. They also take them on field trips every Monday Bus ride around down) . They also do events and fun stuff at the State Fair and the zoo etc. They hold holiday dinners at Carrington court every year for family and friends to come. They usually always pick up when I call to check up on her. Her personal doctor that usually come check up on her once a week always contacts me and give me up dates and ask if I have any concerns. They have shared rooms or they also have a single room for them. It's a nice sizes rooms. Even the shared rooms are a decent size. I would totally recommend Carrington Court for your love ones.

The place is clean, very pretty, but the CNA staff have no business in this population. They have no relevancy to what the residents are going through, much less how to handle them. They have no understanding of adults or adult life. Or, how to handle adult and aging issues. Better training is a desperate need here. If your loved one is still sharp and just needs a little assistance, this is the place for them, if they need nurturing, caring, adult assistance, keep looking.
