My father has been in the memory care unit at Legacy for year now. He's been neglected and…read moreverbally abused for the last 6 months. Virtually every visit we've run into an issues ranging from feces all over the bathroom floor, to bumps, bruises and bleeding, to no showers, to lost items, to no cleaning and laundry service. When I've walked the floors after 9 PM, I often can't find a single person at the nurses station (behind the glass enclosure). Walking the halls turns up no employees as well. Each time we notify staff about issues, we get apologies and promises for improvement. However, things never get any better. Legacy has had leadership issues and turnover at the top levels. If you're looking for a newer facility with nice furniture and building amenities, this is a good option if you can afford it. If you're looking for a facility where your loved one will be happy, look elsewhere.

He was the longest resident as of his passing July 9, 2025 at the young age of 97 years old. We want to sincerely thank Jode and Adysen and all the incredible people at Sagewood but mainly those in assisted living (Mountain View) for their extraordinary care they gave my dad-in-law. Jode and Adysen, in particular, have cared for him as if he were family, showing endless patience, warmth, love and attentiveness. We never needed to worry when we were not around. There are no words to fully express what these two, Jode and Adysen, along with the font desk personnel and the amazing beautiful staff at Sagewood team mean to our family. They are and always will be our family. We are profoundly grateful for all the love and kindness they have shown us and dad throughout the years. She had barely spent a week there when I received the call. "I love it here, and I want to move here permanently." While I thought this was a brilliant idea, I suggested she give it a few weeks to make sure. She called me exactly two weeks later, and we made the arrangements. Why Beacon Crest Senior Living? When I walked into Beacon Crest, I felt like I was walking into a resort. Spacious rooms, elegantly designed. Bright sunlit common areas welcome you to spend time with your parent. The food tastes like you are in a fine dining restaurant. When I looked at the other residents, they looked joyful. It was nothing like the homes I had seen before. In the past, I have volunteered at a variety of senior living communities. I have found many to be disconcerting. There is often a high ratio of residents to caregivers, a depressing atmosphere: and, let's face it, a strange smell when you walk in. Beacon Crest is like nothing you have seen before. It is incredible! My family and I would like to thank the staff for the gentle care, continued kindness, and professional knowledge they bring to each day. My mom has made a community of friends and has found her second family. She enjoys delicious meals each day, receives the care she needs, and most importantly, is thriving. You ask them for help and either they never show up or they tell you they will be back and never come back. They don't assist you to the bathroom so especially at night and you pee your pull ups and the they don't clean you up they basically leave you in your pee. They do the very minimum and don't seem to care about their patients. We even talk with the administration about everything but to no avail.
