This is not a destination park, but a nice neighborhood pocket park to chill at. It offers a lot of green space to layout on, play catch, have a picnic or walk a dog. The park has benches to sit and has a lot of shade. The park is well maintained and has a lot of well groomed foliage and flowers. There is metered street parking available for this park. The park has a memorial for a woman named Joanne Britton Norvell. It looks like it use to be a fountain there, that has been removed somewhere down the road.
Many people were lounging on blankets in the grass while I was there. You may see a porta potty at the park, but it is private and had a pad lock on it. As I mentioned, this is a low key spot that does not have much to offer outside of its semi-shaded green space, brick paved walkways, and plants. read more
