This place is wonderful in that fact that it is never over-crowded. The staff are extremely…read morefriendly and always willing to help. This gym may not the state of the art equipment that an LA fitness would have. However, it has absolutely everything you need to get in an excellent workout. It's two stories. They have scheduled workout classes you can take. They have plenty of after school programs for the kiddos and an area for small children to play while there parents work out. They have Year round tennis and golf. During the summer they have a pool with an on duty life guard. Overall, I highly recommend if you live in the Meade County area.

Large monument located right on the riverfront in Brandenburg Kentucky. Nice area as it right by…read morescenic riverfront park and located across from the popular jailhouse pizza. Confederate monument has a long history with my hometown of Louisville Kentucky. It sat in front of university of Louisville campus for many years until being removed and relocated to Brandenburg in 2016. I can remember walking by this everyday when I attended the university of Louisville. I never really paid much attention to it to be honest. But it was interesting when i stumbled across this while eating at jailhouse pizza and thinking "that looks familiar" and finding out it is because I had seen this before several times just in a completely different spot. There a lot of controversy around confederate monuments and evidently this monument even after moving to Brandenburg has sparked some more of it. So this monument has been a hot spot for news articles and broadcasts for a little bit now. Overall it's a basic monument. It's really large and has a lot of info on why it's there surrounding it.
