We are so pleased with our RV rental from Meacham's. We just spent a week at Fort Wilderness with 5 days at the Disney Parks in June (crazy heat). The RV was nicer than our trailer and reasonably priced compared to Fort Wilderness cabins. The A/C worked like a champ, we had a large indoor fridge and freezer, outdoor kitchen with fridge, etc and plenty of storage. We rented (#47) an XL Deluxe RV and it was roomy with slide outs for the bunk room, family room, etc for our 4 teens/tweens and us. It was well-equipped with all the things you pack in your camper which made it so nice for us; and they added a basket of complimentary items (like K cups) hot chocolate, and dish soap so you can start your vacation well-caffeinated. Honestly, the queen bed was much more comfortable than many resort hotels I have stayed at, no hip or shoulder pain in the wee hours of the morning, which was a huge plus for mamma bear. Meacham has a rule of (1) not wearing shoes in the camper (2) pulling in the awning when you aren't around (3) not eating in your bedroom, which for us was normal camper rules... esp for anyone who has seen an awning flip in a storm, stepped on gravel barefooted in a camper or had a happy troop of ants joining your party (which is everyone who has camped long enough). I emailed Meacham about questions and got prompt and professional replies. You can tell they are a family owned company that takes pride in their product and service. BTW, we LOVED the slightly older golf cart, it was huge help to cart 6 of us around and hit a good 18 miles/hr with ALL of us in it... making young fathers with smaller groups renting at $55/day bitter as they slowly putted behind us. My BIL, who lives in Orlando, camped near us in his trailer and told us repeatedly that we got a great deal. Check out was simple; clean your mess, leave the dirty towels in the shower, and exit out the door. Thank you, Meacham, for making our Disney vacation excellent. Our biggest surprise for Disney - the excellent transportation system throughout the week with airport pickup and drop off. Best tips for Fort camping - bring some gallons of drinking water if you aren't into the taste of sulfur, you can lap swim early in the 24 hour pool and instacart delivers to the front desk. Best summer park tip, bring in ice water in insulated bottles, they will give you free tap&ice water at restaurants to refill those thermoses -even without a purchase. Cheers! read more

An absolute PHENOMENAL experience with Meacham's RV and Andrew!! Andrew's customer service was exceptional before, during and at the end of our stay. He set-up the camper in very little time, explained and showed us all we would need to know. The camper was beautiful, very clean, lots of storage and the bunk area was superb for our three kids(we had plenty of room to set-up a pack-n-play for our youngest)! They have lots of options for cooking in the camper: crockpot, griddle, toaster, microwave and even more. The folding chairs outside were nice and big and the outdoor carpet was terrific. The golf cart was very convenient and functioned very well. They had shampoo, conditioner, soaps, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, cleaner, broom and vacuum! They even had a basket of keurig coffee and hot chocolate, traditional hot chocolate packets, ice tea bags and microwave popcorn(which was delicious)! We did not encounter any problems at all and were highly satisfied with everything provided. We HIGHLY recommend Meacham's RV to anyone looking for First-Rate service and experience. We can't wait to book our next stay with Meacham's! Thank you very much again for a extraordinary time! K.LaClair read more

We just got back from our trip to Fort DeSoto Park in St. Petersburg FL. We decided to rent an RV from Meacham's RV and it turned out to be a wonderful trip, with our days spent biking, kayaking, fishing, and relaxing in our deluxe extra large camper. The RV was fully stocked. We just had to bring food. The beds were very comfy and the the air conditioners in this RV kept us cool at all times. Meacham's RV will bring the RV to your site and set it up for you. When your trip is done you just pack up your belongings and leave. They will come and take the RV back. When we first arrived, the outside of the RV had a power awning extended and outdoor carpets with four chairs. It was very inviting. We had outdoor speakers to play some great tunes while we cooked in the outdoor kitchen. There was also a great indoor kitchen but we wanted to enjoy the outdoors. Everything in the RV was in excellent/clean condition. They provided a multitude of supplies and personal touches that transformed the travel trailer into an adventurous home away from home. I would recommend them to anyone that loves to camp in style. read more

My daughter has rented from Andrew in the past so when we decided to do a family reunion with four trailers, we went to Andrew at Meacham's RV. Could not have been better. Each trailer was delivered to the spot at Disney World and set up. They were perfect. Having camped with our own trailer in the past, there is nothing better than arriving and having everything set up for you including the chairs outside. And it was even better when we left because we just had to clean out our stuff and be on the way. Aside from this, we were supposed to do this reunion last year and had to cancel a few weeks before because our granddaughter had a traumatic brain injury. Andrew was great about it - just said to let him know when we were ready. We did not lose a cent. This past week, a year later, we made the trip and had a wonderful time. All the better because our granddaughter was able to go with us with no restrictions on her activities. I am sure we will be renting from Meacham's again in the future. Thanks Andrew! read more

We love camping at Disney's Fort Wilderness. It is the best way to enjoy the parks but still have a relaxing RVing vacation. On our last trip, we rented from Meacham's RV. Brand new RV and plenty of space. The kids bedroom was HUGE. Double slide out in the back bedroom with two bunks and one bed that turned into a queen sized bed. Fully equipped trailer with all the cooking utensils, pots & linens supplied. We also got a golf cart even though we had bikes. It was so nice to have on the evenings coming back from the parks! The outdoor kitchen was my favorite part of the RV. Being able to cook breakfast before heading out for the day and still be with everyone outside was so nice! All the equipment was in pristine condition and practically brand new! There is even an outdoor fridge and they even had an outdoor rug and plenty of outdoor seating set up and waiting for us when we arrived! I highly recommend renting from the Meacham's. They made the process smooth and thought of everything! read more

I am sitting at the dinette table on the last day of our two-week rental of a Jayco camper at Fort Wilderness. Everything has been wonderful. The camper was super well-equipped with all of the meal prep tools, linens, and barbeque tools that we could have imagined. We wanted for nothing! The RV was super comfortable and spacious, and all set up before we even arrived. We enjoyed time inside and outside on the supplied patio kit including a site carpet and comfortable camping chairs. Our rental even included a super fun and helpful outdoor kitchen (in addition to the inside kitchen). Meacham's also provided us with a golf cart to get around this super big RV park. It was a slightly older cart but ran very well. Best of all, as a Disney fan, it sports the original "Frontier Mickey" logo on the front which snagged us many fun comments from our fellow campers. Mr. Meacham and his company have been wonderful. They've communicated with us very well - We could not be more satisfied! read more

Five Stars!! Just got back from a week long camping trip at Disney and stayed in FW49 2018 Jayco Jay Flight, 32TSBH. Super clean and well maintained. We would do it again in a heartbeat. Andrew Meacham was responsive to every email, text, and phone call over the 10 months before the trip. We picked this particular trailer because it has a double bed size pull out in the bunk room, a double size pull out in the living room, and a queen in the master. This made it very comfortable for three large adults to move around and sleep in our own separate areas of the trailer. Andrew Meacham must have some connections at the campground because he was able to set the trailer up at Loop 100, the most desirable of loops. It is the closest to the Ferry, Store and Restaurant. The cost for a seven-night rental and the use of a golf cart was very reasonable. Much cheaper than staying on property where there is a kitchen to cook when you feel like it. read more

Andrew from Meacham's was amazing! We planned our trip not sure where to stay, but knowing we wanted to stay on Disney property. The very best opportunity was to rent the RV and stay at Fort Wilderness. The RV and golf cart were delivered to our site on the day of our arrival, fully equipped and so inviting! Andrew has everything set up, including lounge chairs, and the golf cart charged up! We could not have been happier with Fort Wilderness, renting the RV from Meacham's and enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the grounds. The beds were very comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. You can get groceries delivered to your site, or Lyft to go to the Walmart. (Which is less expensive). We arrived late, and unable to get groceries until the next day, but There was coffee in the RV to get us jump started! So grateful for this wonderful week, and Meacham's made it fantastic! Thank you! read more

After previously driving a trailer down to Disney and paying full price for a golf cart, we took a chance with Meachams. We were so happy with the service and the price!! Both the trailer and the golf cart for a fraction of what we spent the first time there!!! Not only was is super clean and on time, they even packed it all up for us and moved everything to our spot (Disney messed up our site numbers) 10 minutes later. Response time was great and everyone was super friendly. This was going to be our last trip to Disney, but the ease and quality of Meachams RV made us decide to come back in a few years. They go above and beyond from extra towels to having a slow cooker and Keurig coffee pot included. All we really needed was clothes and food! Five stars, we're telling everyone and we'll definitely be back again! read more

This was the first time renting a camper for our Halloween stay at Ft. Wilderness for our family. I found the company from searching on yahoo. I called a few other places but decided to go with Meacham's because they do golf cart rental as well. And I'm so glad I did!! Andrew was always available on the phone everytime I had some questions. And it was always him who picked up the phone too. There was never the need to explain who I was. This personal touch was HUGE for me. He arrived on time to deliver the camper. He gave us clear instructions of what to do and expect for the camper. Everything was in excellent condition, including the golf cart. It was so nice to finally meet him in person after talking to each other on the phone for months!! I wouldn't hesitate to rent from him again in the future!! read more

We have used Meacham's RV rental 5 times. Our most recent was the week of 3/3/19, and I can not say enough good things about every experience. We fly to Florida from Minnesota, and every time we arrive to our camper the A.C. is on, chairs & rug set up, etc. There's always plenty of towels, cups plates, and all necessities. As well as provided shampoo/conditioner/K-cups/popcorn/hot chocolate, the whole sha-bang! We only need to arrive with our clothes. Very clean campers, & always professional. And always on time. The golf cart is an added bonus. One year our golf cart had an issue (maybe battery problem?) But a replacement was delivered to us same day! I normally don't do reviews, but I have had so many good experiences that I felt moved to to. Thank you Meacham's! -Dapper family read more

Rented at Fort Wilderness did the math and cost to haul trailer from Buffalo ny to disney and with all the extra room had some guest along. The difference in price plus the extra time I saved traveling without a trailer in haul as a minor difference in cost plus incl'd a golf cart if prepaid!!! What I did not expect was the great service, set up unit when I arrived and with there connections at FT Wilderness ended up with the loop and site I wanted. Worked with Andrew who is the best! Plus all the trailer is loaded with all you need and more for your stay. If you compare to all the other RV rental places that add cleaning, delivery and etc.. fees Meacham's beats everyone else hands down. Will be a regular customer for life thanks Andrew read more

A great stay at Fort Wilderness. This is the first time we rented an RV so we were not sure what to expect. The camper was clean and everything worked as it should. All amenities that were listed on the website were there and the bedding and towels were clean as well. The camper was setup for us at arrival and they took it down after we left. There was a security deposit taken at the beginning of our trip.... I get concerned that companies might find reasons to keep some of it. We used the camper with care, did what we were instructed to in the check out letter and the deposit was released back to us in a couple days. We are pleased with experience and would rent from Meacham's RV again in the future. read more

We rented a travel trailer from Meacham's for a week in Ft. Wilderness to take our twin grandchildren to Disney for their 5th birthday. The unit and golf cart were delivered and set up cooled and the refrigerator cold for our supplies when we arrived. The unit was exactly as pictured and described and well appointed with all supplies and linens needed for our week. I had a couple of requests and they were immediately responded to and addressed. The camper was very clean and well maintained and our family had a wonderful vacation with no issues with the unit. I would definitely recommend the company to anyone looking for a Disney vacation in Ft. Wilderness. Thank you Meacham's. read more

Fort Desoto Family Camp Trip. Very nice people to work with. Trailer was great. Clean, everything worked and all we did was show up. They had it set up with AC running, TV on, outdoor carpet, and chairs -ready go for the weekend. Kitchen was well stocked with plates cooking utensils etc. The Keurig was a nice touch. All we needed was bedding towels. Andrew was available to answer any questions. We rented the 30' Rockwood. If you rent with them please follow the simple rules they have as I loved having a trailer in very nice condition. We will be back PS If you goto FT Desoto you can rent a nice little fire pit for $3/day -BYOW read more

We just got back home from the fort after renting a camper from Meachams. The experience was fantastic! Andrew was constantly in touch with us prior to check in and we were actually upgraded to a 36' quad bunkhouse camper from a 30' which suited us perfectly since we have 3 kids. Our rental came with a free golf cart which I definitely recommend. It made travel within the campground very convenient. We didn't have any issues at all and would definitely use them again! Check in was flawless as was check out. Our deposit was refunded timely and we didn't have any issues. Using Meacham's was the best decision we made. read more

We are a family of 5 and we loved our camper at the Fort! The queen bed was comfortable and the kids beds were good. We were well stocked with pillows and towels. The extra touch of dish soap, coffee, popcorn and hot chocolate was great! Our golf cart was pretty speedy! Everything was set up ready to go for us. We never had to empty the black tank once and we were there for 5 days. So if you are worried about this, do not be! Hot water was good for two quick showers in a row so just plan accordingly. Toaster, Keurig, crockpot, dishes and all the kitchen necessities were there. Will not hesitate to book again! read more

After using other RV rentals for our stays at Fort Wilderness, we were pleased with Meacham's and recommend them to EVERYONE! The process was so simple to use them and they helped find a great spot for us for our 3 day focus of fun at Fort Wilderness! Everything we needed was provided with the RV! Don't go with other companies that don't stand behind their product, service, setup, and credit when there is a problem (like a hurricane...)! Andrew was terrific to work with! We will be using them again! (And don't forget to pay at time of rental and receive your golf cart inclusive in your rental!) read more

Andrew and Carrie Meacham are top notch, and our group put them to the test. They went beyond even reasonable expectations to make sure our group was serviced. (We needed 8 campers to accommodate our group.) They went to great lengths to make sure we were satisfied, and were very responsive to our requests. The campers are clean and complete with anything you could want for a great stay at Ft. Wilderness--down to the Keurig coffee maker and K-cups and golf cart! We have already reserved our camper for next year! Can't say enough good things about Meacham's! read more
