They knew we were getting ready to live in it full time. Well, fought and fought with Wichita RV East for months with no resolve, so we contacted South Trails RV since we were now in Florida!! Holy cow there is customer service in the RV world!! Bonnie is awesome! She listened, wrote down our issues, set up a date (a week) for us to drop it off while we went on a cruise, and was able to complete some repairs and order the remainder! Within one visit, we had more focused interaction than eight months of dealing with the other dealer! Thanks to Bonnie and her team for getting our issues sorted out and for fighting with the manufacturer about warranty lag time due to the previous dealer!

What a great experience! We spent two weeks in an RV from Meacham's and it was a blast!…read more By booking in advance and paying in full, there was a substantial discount. And, due to the pandemic, the owner (Andrew Meacham) gave us a better cancellation policy than normal. When we first arrived after a day in the park, everything was set up. The camper was clean - very clean. (Andrew even assisted in contacting Fort Wilderness to change our space to one we had requested and didn't receive). We brought many items that were supplied - so don't pack towels, toilet paper, paper towels - these are all provided. There were also coffee filters, but I'm not sure if these are always supplied. I would highly recommend getting a camper with an outside kitchen - we used ours extensively. Even on days when using the Disney grill having the kitchen made it easier to store paper towels, plates, utensils and food. Next time we'll probably go for the deluxe camper. Meacham's length of stay Golf Cart deal is well worth it too. (We also rented a fire pit, but didn't really use it). We had some minor issues over the course of two weeks which Andrew promptly addressed. As for the campsites, I'd recommend a Premium site over a Preferred as the site is bigger and there is more privacy. Staying in an RV saves A LOT of $$ on food. We started our trip at POP Century and might have spent more on eating out in two days there than we did at two weeks in the camper. We cooked most of our meals, or prepared meals to bring to the parks. Fort Wilderness has a lot to offer. We visit Disney yearly and usually spend a day or two there. Having two full weeks really added to the enjoyment. Biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing (we brought our own rods), swimming, horseback riding and more. Some activities that we've done in the past were not available due to the pandemic (motor boat rentals, the campfire program, wagon rides), but there's still lots to do. We did notice a significant increase in occupancy on weekends with many locals visiting. This did put a strain on the pools. Pools were nearly empty midweek. I highly recommend a stay in an RV at Fort Wilderness - and Meacham's is the way to go!

HELP!!!! I submitted approval for my RV and shed. This is not acceptable. I have downsized and this is to be my permanent residence and 2 months later being told to move after they have already approved everything. Now I fear retaliation from the Management. I will seek legal counsel if necessary.

He still has a lease with his trailer here and I can't get the park manager to get her operations manager to call me about paying off his lease and transferring it into one of my aunts names so that we can sell it. The park manager the one that answered the phone has been extremely rude to me this whole time and when I said that I had expected a call within the same day because it was an urgent matter. She said that she had cancer and can't be. At peoples every whim. I'm sorry, but if you have a job that you get paid for and you are there from 830 to 5 and it says the office is open and you should be able to get your work done regardless of your own personal situation overall she was extremely rude and combative and I am sure that Hr operations manager wasn't even told about the situation because it's been three days and nobody's called me yet. Absolutely ridiculous. I would never let a family member stay here nothing but crooks that won't call you so they can take their money back

The park is mostly mobile homes, but let me tell you, never ever have we seen a mobile home park as prestige as this! Most of the trailers are very old, but they are very, very nice and collectible and taken care of Amazing! Truly this RV park should be in a magazine! Instead of a car show they should have an antique mobile home show! Everyone of the people that live there take pride in their homes! Everyone's so nice, lots of dog walking and friendly waves! We will not hesitate to book here again when visiting Sebring! We had a lot of fun in the last three days visiting the Hammond state park and taking the tram tour , eating at all the yummy restaurants, going to the Secret Gardens winery tasting, walking the Historic Circle in the Sebring Town! Just a lot of fun!

The park is located on Lake Josephine, and if you like to fish our go boating everything you need is here including a fish cleaning space. You can also invest in a dock if ones available, or store your boat for a reasonable rate. The sunsets over the lake can be part of your daily routine and some nights they are spectacular. The residents here are always friendly, and smiling, and enjoying getting together for the many activities that are offered. Tennis, pickleball, bocce, horseshoes, putt putt, shuffleboard, various crafts and games. Tai chi, Walk walk, Line dancing classes, water aerobics, and many more. Lunch is served in season at the Cafe on the lake. Excellent choices at a reasonable price, and with the gentle breezes off the lake, and wild life in full view a delightful place relax or socialize. The office staff is friendly and accommodating especially, Brittney. She is very knowledgeable and experienced. The manager is easy to talk to and available if you need information regarding the park. This park is a hidden treasure in central south Florida.
