Free and plenty of parking. It's a trash free park, what you bring in, take out. There is an event pavilion and beautiful lake for catch & release fishing ....or turtles ( see pics) lol. There is a fantastic playground for the little & big ones. The trail around the lake has exercise spots and open fields with a huge wall mural. This will definitely be a go to spot for picnics, walking and being in nature.

I'm sad to say I have dedicated a small portion of my life to a warehouse, no matter if it was full of electrical gadgets and gizmos. Lights and toddlers were constantly whirling across the arcade and bouncing areas. I must admit the dip n dots vending machine was a highlight. Additionally, I frequently lost my footing due to the masses of youth who altered my reality. I had never felt so lost. However! In a thrilling turn of events, my excruciating troubles were temporary. Urban air has cleansed my internal aching. I am purified. Everything, in comparison to my urban air past, has gained beauty. I have been rejuvenated. I believe everyone deserves to rejoice in the journey that is urban air.

You have the option of doing half of the loop if you wish. I enjoyed the walk, which was extremely peaceful, and also, the great scenery of the beautiful field. The park contains a pavilion, picnic tables, a playground, and a soccer field. Beware of school sporting events that take place, because the parking lot will be packed, for example when I came. There is also a playground next to the beach. I have never seen it crowded - even on a hot Saturday afternoon. There is no longer a snack stand but the ice cream truck stops by. It's a wonderful place for the kids to play and for me to relax.

I can't comment on the previous reviewers experience, except to add that I have been going there…read morefor 3 years and while there have been a few scrapes here and there, my overall experience has been pawsitivly positive. We are talking about dogs and people. While there are rules, it is self regulating with the occasional reminder. I expect the occasional disagreement to and rather then separate or restrain the dogs, I leave. The people who volunteer to manage the park do an incredible job, with few resources. The dog park permit is free, by the way. It only requires you to prove that your dog is up to date on vaccinations, and contact information. The police department is so close, if some altercation were to occur, help is moments away. I have met some great people, and some that I might not want to have tea with, but I know for sure that people who go there regularly are invested and committed in keeping the park clean and safe.
