I got a very bad toenail infection which then turned into a fungus after I was very badly cut with nippers by the girl who was doing my pedicure. And then while I was bleeding she put my foot back into the dirty water. I tried to pull my foot back and she forced it in there and started scooping out this blue powder and adding it to the water which I'm going to assume is some sort of disinfectant well guess what it doesn't work. I asked for a French design with pink underneath. I even came with my own stickers. They rushed me out of being able to pick the pink I wanted I kept asking for a semi clear pink the pink they chose, had a lot of glitter in it so I asked for one coat they refuse to fill the sides of my nail saying, it was too fat and unnatural. When I realized they were putting a second coat of the pink I stopped them and filed it off . At no point did anyone have gloves on . They do not use sanitized tools . The first tech was more concerned about not damaging her own painted nails. they kept trying to file underneath my nailbed with a drillbit that would've destroyed my actual nails and not the tip. When I refused they switched techs. Another tech stepped in finished filing it off and then proceeded to paint two coats again ignoring my several requests to stop. At the end she realized she fully ignored the design- which at that point was useless because she ignored everything I asked for up until that point so it wouldn't have looked right. I even asked when do customers ever go to salons and have the tech refuse what the customer is asking for. They destroyed my real nails under the gel . I did get up to speak to guy at the desk and he ignored me and watched her show me back to my seat telling me to calm down. He refused to intervene. They rushed through top coat and only half my fingers are cured . I went back up to talk to him and he ignored me and shoved the receipt ignoring anything I asked. Nail salons have been doing French since the 90s I've never had a worse experience. Instead of offering to fix what I was clearly unhappy with I got told to calm down and pushed and threatened they would rip my nails off instead of correcting . I even asked to pay for the half finished job because this was horrible and I let them know multiple times they were ignoring what I asked for so that I could just leave and have it done elsewhere. I got my (UVgel) manicure done here 3 times. The third time my nail broke. I went in to fix it (less than 12 hrs of manicure) they put a drop of crazy glue and one top coat. Nail was fixed in less than a minute I brought my daughter with me, she got a gel pedicure. As I was waiting for her to be done...I got a 15 minute massage. The boss actually charged me $3 for a top coat!!! Ridiculous . bad business money hungry! I went in for one minute to fix a nail (which I paid over $80 less than 12 hours prior) and actually dropped another $60 for my daughters pedicure and $15 for a massage (excluding tips)!!! you are really going to charge $3 for one layer top coat??? I will never go back. It took 2.5 hours to get a pedicure and dip powder manicure and they weren't even busy. I paid for a spa pedicure and didn't get anything advertised ( essential oils, paraffin wax, etc.) Within an hour of leaving the dip powder began cracking under the surface. I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone because one time I went to get a regular pedicure, and when it was finished it looked horrible. So I asked the worker why it looked like this and he said "if you wanted it to look good you should have got gel." First of all don't tell me what I should have got, second of all if I were to get gel it would be like $25 more. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I got a gel pedicure (white). 1st of all my pedicure was rushed and the water was cold !!!! Red flag. But I didn't complain because all that matted was that my pedicure came out nicely. It's been 3 days and the white gel polish the lady put on my toes is STAINED & fading! (I keep my toes clean) & as the day goes by the color is fading. How does that even happen with gel polish? Couldn't have been gel polish, but that's what I paid for. I say all of this to say, IM NEVER GOING BACK! $57 dollars including tip for what? Trash. You guys should be ashamed of yourself. Service isn't bad but its it or miss and the prices keep fluctuating. The owner is overly money minded and has zero customer service skills. I had just got my fill in a little over a week ago... right before my Mom got hers. 2 nails popped off for no reason and 1 was cracking. RIDICULOUS! Alex fixed them and I got my pedicure with Lucy however, THIRD ISSUE. my pedicure only lasted about 10-15 minutes, water WASNT WARM, barely put lotion on my legs, and had no energy to even massage my legs. I've been going here since they opened. It's gone down hill fast! It's clean but the service is horrible! Cindy did my nails and she is the owner. It takes her way too much time to do nails because she's the only one who answers the phone, greet incoming customers and takes payment. Clearly she doesn't trust her employees. This time I counted how many times within 1 hour she stopped. It was 15 times! More than 1 time every 5 minutes! I should've been done 15 minutes earlier than I was. Their color match nail polishes do not match. I've done several different colors and every time they are different. Then the icing on the cake is your supposed to get a small massage at the end but she basically touched my shoulders for 10 seconds and took her next customer! I would give this place zero if I could. I don't really use Yelp but this situation has made me compelled to say something. My mother wanted to get her nails done somewhere close by and we had yet to try this place. My mother had an accident a few years ago that resulted in the partial loss of one of her fingers, and in recent years finally built the confidence up to get her nails done again like she always used to. No one has ever refused her service on that nail before, in fact other nail salons in the area have been extremely kind and accomodating towards my mother's finger. The man working on her acrylic set at this location looked at her finger deformity in disgust and skipped it, and when my mother asked him why he continuously shook his head and said "I won't do 'that.' No." He argued with her for several minutes, embarassing her for her nail, until one of his coworkers intervened and tried showing him how to... work on her nail??? She was near tears when she came home. I am mortified and incredibly angry. Absolutely shameful to discriminate against customers with deformities/disabilities. We will not come here ever again, they are overpriced, rude and their hearts are not in the right place. I truly hope they read this and learn something from it. read more
