I will let all my USA affiliates know about the way they operate and treat you like a criminal. Never in all my years have I dealt with this. I said right from the start, the starter wire (common on Volvo trucks) or battery cables loose. I told him I will put him on our perferred list, if he was fair, but obviously he didn't care. I asked several times for the part number and he played stupid. I had both the Delco Remy and OEM numbers to confirm what he was attempting to put on and we ended up putting the old one on again and it was the starter wire like I said. This guy turned and said $850. And I said no! We fought and he put it down to $650. but we should not have paid more than the agreed service call of $350. as he was just trying to pull a fast one. We had an important load to deliver and he screwed us up on that too. I would check his credentials as a mechanic, because they shouldn't be crooked. I have been in the trucking business for decades, have come across shady characters before but this guy tops all, my driver even said that he was just screwing us and wasting our time. Starter wire...6 hours????? This place is a joke!

Almost two months ago our truck was hauled to Jerry's shop. We broke down and was going to have it hauled to a local shop near our house. The driver that night talked us into having to towed to their shop. The next day we spoke with Jerry (the owner) and he told us if we brought him the 4K asap he would get the truck fixed by Tuesday with the engine being replaced. That would have been about a 4 day turn around. Took the money and got the motor. Truck was given back to me about 3 weeks later and was smoking and running just as bad. They picked it up again. And now to say it's been 55 days and no truck. We have heard every excuse in the book, all of this trucks lost or had their lug nuts stolen. Today was told his guy had covid and couldn't come in. Jerry was ALWAYS out of town. His workers were even "coming in on their day off". Nothing ever happened in the positive. Contacted my lawyer today. I hope I can help someone out with the review.
