His office recently moved to St. Vincent Hospital Carmel location with the St. Vincent Medical Group. The first visit felt like a maze to find the office but isn't bad once you've been there. The building entrance is located in Building 4 and you take ELEVATOR C to the 3rd floor, Suite 354. The office is right by the elevator. The office staff was very pleasant to work with and helpful.

Dr. Patel didn't spend much time with me at all, recommended septum repair & threw in turbinate reduction even though I wasn't having problems breathing (aside from the break). So now I am +4 months post surg & my nose won't stop running because the turbinates were reduced too much. Options are nasal drying spray (which hasn't worked) or another (pricey) surgery to build the turbinates back up - no thanks. My nose is straight(er) but the tip is still numb & the nares area is so tender I can't blow my nose like a normal person. I REALLY regret having this done.

I am currently using supplemental oxygen 24 hrs a day. The first POC supplied by AHHE had 2…read morestandard batteries which would last for about 2.5 hours & a large battery that was good for about 5 hours. The POC was also rated for occasional overnight usage while sleeping. After about a year the batteries would not charge & ATTE swapped the system out with a different system. The new system only came with a small battery that lasted 2 hours and then would shutdown. The documentation also stated the IGO2 POC should not be used while sleeping. I called ATTE's customer support number, & was treated very rudely, told If I wanted a second battery it would cost me about 500 dollars.
