Like many unfortunate souls out there I suffered from a temporary case of being a divvy at a computer-related problem. Since MCS is across the road I decided to give them a try to see if they could solve the problem- after all, that's what they do. I felt a bit unsteady though. I was the only person in the shop and there were 5 men just staring at me, not saying anything. They were probably laughing at how pathetic I was in not knowing the ins and outs of computer management, but it was enough to put me off going back there again. After investigating my laptop, the man said in a very brief and incoherent manner what the problem was. When I asked how much it would cost to fix it they gave an indefinite answer and then proceeded to tell me other things that were wrong with the laptop. The next day I went to the uni help desk and the problem was sorted in an hour, free of charge. read more
