Located just before or after Tates Avenue (depending on which direction you are going I suppose) this lovely little pharmacy is particularly handy as it is located very close to my house.
It is well laid out and stocked with all of the usual pharmacy bits and pieces, including a bunch of cleaning products which I'd not seen in a pharmacy before. Though they can be bought cheaper in the bigger supermarkets.
The staff in it are particularly pleasant, most memorably because I got into a conversation with one of them regarding some toothpaste I was purchasing. Now perhaps she was lonely or bored or she wanted to get to know me before she stole my pin number, but usually when I go to buy toothpaste, I just expect to pay for it and say thank you and then leave.
Instead, this lady insisted on chatting away, which I didn't really mind, but if you go to have a conversation with someone about toothpaste, chances are your conversation is going to run dry pretty quickly (then you'd use mouthwash... ba dum)
The pharmacy is very handy and very friendly, and offers customers a much more personal experience than one might expect. read more
