Dr. Bouwens listened to what I had to say, offered me good advice, and was genuinely concerned for my well-being. I actually learned things instead of feeling like I was just giving him all the answers (which is what I've experienced multiple times elsewhere). For the first time in a very, very long time I felt like I was speaking to a doctor instead of a businessman with a medical degree. He is knowledgeable, polite, kind, and helpful. I didn't understand her as I was now trying to listen to two people at once. She interrupted me again demanding I put a mask on. Apparently her power trip was more important than my call. This fake nurse (they wear scrubs like they're medical professionals, when they're not) shouldn't be in a customer-facing position.

The office is beautiful inside and the waiting area is separated for well/sick kids by a large awesome fishtank. They have a little TV with child-friendly movies playing in the waiting area and other kid-friendly stuff. Dr Stutzman is a lactation consultant, which has come in handy since we have a newborn. She always answers my questions completely and never seems to be in a hurry to get the visit done with. We have been very happy with her. Be sure to call a month or so ahead of time for checkups.

Dr. Elderkin and Dr. Pete were my OBs during my pregnancy - both were very informative and scheduled extra tests and appointments for me, making me feel secure and confident and helped eased my mind. The nurses that worked the floor during my stay were extremely helpful and checked in often, helping us take care of the babies and brought in extra supplies to help with feeds & changes. They offered a lot of guidance and were very encouraging, especially nurse Heather (I believe she is a travel nurse). Overall, I've had a very positive experience with Metro!

I recently purchased lenses and after less than 90 days see scratches. When I made an appointment…read moreto have them checked they said they would look into any defect in their work. I was told since I did not purchase insurance they only cover their work for 60 days. I have worn glasses for over 40 years and when I have to spend several hundreds of dollars on them I take good care of them. When a business asks you to pay for insurance to cover their own work I believe that to be an extremely poor business model. If their scratch resistant coating will not last more than 60 days I believe that to be a defect but yet they will not replace my lenses. Again, I have only had these lenses less than 90 days. I will be looking for a new place to do business.

Then she kept asking me to reschedule after I said I didn't want to reschedule at the moment. Then she threatened me that I was required by my insurance to come for a yearly checkup. Which was a lie. She just tried to make me feel bad for canceling an appointment. My family members have had issues with the secretaries also. I switched doctors because of the front desk employees and the limitations of the office. If I wanted a female doctor or PA for a sensitive Exam they don't have any other providers. If I needed labs done I had to go to another building because they don't have a lab in the office
