Dr. Bouwens listened to what I had to say, offered me good advice, and was genuinely concerned for my well-being. I actually learned things instead of feeling like I was just giving him all the answers (which is what I've experienced multiple times elsewhere). For the first time in a very, very long time I felt like I was speaking to a doctor instead of a businessman with a medical degree. He is knowledgeable, polite, kind, and helpful. I had been seen in another urgent care center earlier in the day where medical staff failed to treat properly. Actually they didn't even diagnose anything and wouldn't give antibiotics without running a rona test. Seriously. Told me to gargle with salt water. This team at Mercy Health, adhered to my symptomology, looked at my medical history and went to work. Diagnosis: bilateral ear infections and a sinusitis. I was given appropriate antibiotics without the propaganda. Hands down exactly the treatment I required! Very nice facility. Staff very professional. Fever broke within 24 hours of taking antibiotiocs and only slight pressure in one ear. Highly recommend!!!!

Dr. Elderkin and Dr. Pete were my OBs during my pregnancy - both were very informative and scheduled extra tests and appointments for me, making me feel secure and confident and helped eased my mind. The nurses that worked the floor during my stay were extremely helpful and checked in often, helping us take care of the babies and brought in extra supplies to help with feeds & changes. They offered a lot of guidance and were very encouraging, especially nurse Heather (I believe she is a travel nurse). Overall, I've had a very positive experience with Metro!
