Churches are a very individual thing--whether people like them or not, so I'll just describe the type of church it is.
It's a PCA church (different than PCUSA) which means it is socially conservative. This is a medium sized church with traditional church music, intermingled with some drums/praise singers now and then. No drum cage/light shows. I'm not sure if this is a presbyterian thing or has more to do with this church, but people seem to be a little more shy/reserved to newcomers, at least compared to a baptist or Bible church. Demographics--mostly white, upper middle class/upper class families with young children. There are many awesome ministries and once you get to know the people at this church, they are genuine and true believers, i'm just giving more of an overview of the service itself. Would highly recommend, overall! read more
