I frequent this office often sometimes every 30 days the wait time is minimal all of the staff that I am involved with including Dr. Stevens, who is a valuable asset to this office support staff such as Unique and Mary all have delivered an experience that I would say a second to none. thank you everyone in Michigan health specialist for providing quality healthcare. Your appointment could be at 11:30 or 11:45 and you won't be seen to after lunch. She takes off days at time to keep from seeing certain patients. MICHIGAN HEALTH specialist is a Center-based home facility and that means you are not supposed to turn patients away. Not sure what Dr. Wheatley did with her patients but nobody wants to seen them. Let's talk about the previous staff was rude to the patients, I witnessed it myself. She was rude to me. She smelled bad and she was there for almost a year. It's hard to get refills for the patients, prescriptions are not being put in and or sent to the proper place. They leave this up to the front desk to handle to take messages back to the doctors when there should be a nurse for that. The phone is trash it hangs up on the patients. Front staff is the face you can only do so much for the pt if the providers refuse to do something it make them look like they are not doing there job. Here a good example I'm on the phone with a pt. Mary calls I don't answers because I'm on the phone. She calls my coworker, coworker inform her I'm on the phone. I told her give me a minute I'm on the phone. How rude to interrupt someone mid sentence. I heard Mary in a rude tone tell her can't wait. Mary was calling about a pcp change for a new pt. Pt informed me she had it changed.. but was told she had to reschedule. I would get calls from Mary about pt with balances. My job was to ask if they say no or they don't have it. I'm not forcing it. I could write a book... but I'm stop here... I don't normally do reviews but here you go...
