We don't wear shoes in our house and they always have shoe coverings. This summer we had extra spiders running around and the technicians spoke with said if they were still an issue after she sprayed that I could call again to get another service. I have also called them for what I thought was a rat problem in the garage. They came out and looked. It turned out to be bats and he taught me the difference between bat and rat feces. The technician crawled up in the attic to assure me they hadn't made the way in yet but I should fix the metal covering just in case. The last outside spray the technician came to show me that I had a potential water leak possibly with my refrigerator and it was leaking through my foundation. I haven't been outside for awhile and was alarmed by what I saw. I guess since the summer when we ran the sprinklers I didn't notice that the water bill was high because it was lower than the summer. Anyway, we checked and sure enough the water line we never used was leaking somewhere in the walls in the basement crawl space! I called a plumber to get it taken care of right away. While down in the crawl space looking for the leak my husband noticed rat droppings and I called American Pest again. That rat coverage I didn't think I needed when I signed up is covered. It's always good to to be prepared for anything. Everyone I've had interaction with at American Pest Control are kind and don't make you feel like an idiot for calling about a problem. I was having 2 problems: mice (brand new), and moths: a serious long standing infestation which had cost me thousands of dollars in damage. Maybe we were at cross purposes with the moths. The mice were well addressed with keeping my 3 dogs at the forefront of safety. I still feel like the moths were not taken as seriously as they should have been. However they were right "on it", and the next day a supervisor came out and with respect to me we walked step by step over the entire property, giving the moths the serious attention they deserved. In fact, I think he was shocked at the moths he saw already caught and agreed with me on the likely source. He corrected ideas that I had which were not accurate and suggested ones that were. He then set up a schedule to in effect start over, and come back weekly to follow up. It was the follow up technician that found the source: I had been sabotaged by my own son and his alleged girlfriend when they placed entire plates full of food in the attic. No amount of treatment would have ever worked had this shockingly disrespectful event not been found. This act makes me sick to my stomach. However Green Pest has gone from a 1 star to a 5 star by just seriously listening to me, and giving many suggestions on how I can do my part in pest control in my own home. I am very grateful. We had bats in the attic and they were somehow getting into the house. Yikes! We searched for…read morelocal companies (we live in a town of around 50,000 people) and Orkin said in their ad that they handled bats. My wife drove over (short drive) to the Orkin office and talked to Vince, the Service Manager. Vince came out THAT DAY and spent 2 full hours inspecting the house's exterior and then did a very thorough attic inspection. Vince came by THE NEXT DAY with a very thorough analysis, including photos, of what was happening and the cost to fix. Vince showed up for both appointments exactly on time and even wore booties to cover his shoes. The repair team showed up on time and did a great job. We even tacked on some additional work (gutter screens). Our experience with Vince, the team, and Orkin was excellent.

Saw bat guano saw an infestation of bats and their bugs and took 2 weeks to get a report together that mention nothing of what he found but what he wanted to charge to perform work for something he fails to mention why. Then claims only the branch owner can verify. After speaking with multiple staf members im told the manager who also owns the place would be talking to me next, who answers but Vince, the same dipshit that couldn't identify the bug and needed to speak to his boss whom he claims is him. So now we're waiting on Vince to have a talk with himself to identify a bug found with the bats, all before we can get anything done. Here up Vince. Your competition will likely get the job. ​
