Jason does quality work AND has the best pricing-- very hard to find both. If pay less someone else…read morethan you'll likely get less or have to pay Jason to come and redo that persons work. Rentals, personal homes, second homes -- he's your guy. It's crazy how many people out there that don't have a work ethic, do the bare minimum, do it wrong, do not finish what they've started, and even worse are not transparent. Jason will tell you what is needed and if there is something he can't do, he will tell you he can't do it, but will more than likely know someone who can. Unfortunately, I've taken a lot of financial loss because contractors claimed they could something that was actually out of their skillset resulting in leaks, damage etc. I've learned that if Jason is tied up and my project isn't urgent, I will gladly and patiently wait for his schedule to open up. I'm over risking my time and money on other people just to have to have it demoed and redone. Do yourself a favor-- for projects big and small and any handyman work-- call Kop construction first.

What his team delivered was a slab that was so far out of level that it is not really usable for anything. When asked about this he insisted it was fine. I have now had several professionals look at the work and are amazed anyone could have poured this slab a foot out of level given there were marked grading stakes showing exactly what was level. I gave him several opportunities to make this right and he refused to address the issue. So now I have several thousands of dollars of concrete in my yard that are not usable for their intended purpose.

He did a walk through of the house and I was told he would get me an estimate soon (couple of days). After 3 weeks and me having to contact him I was given a couple excuses as to why he hadn't contacted me and then was told about the estimate on the house, "having been partially completed in many areas and other complexities with this project (ie. drainage issue) in master, I don't think an estimate would be the best option for me due to unforeseen issues that will undoubtedly arise. With that said, I am happy to consider an hourly contract... When I do hourly work I charge $90/man hour. " I gave this company three stars because they took the time to show up but I did not use them because they couldn't do an estimate, as well as the lack of communication.
