We hired them for debris removal and forestry mulching -…read morewe said our budget was $6000 and the final invoice was $11,400 - and the forestry mulching was not done. This man has no clue how to handle a job site and doesn't care about your budget. First, this is not Marcus Woodburn's (the owner) main focus. His other job is a chiropractor in Leland. Second, he has an inexperienced young man running his heavy equipment and this young man does not know how to operate the equipment well or efficiently. He wasted precious hours playing in the dirt and trying to balance objects on piles with the equipment. Third, Marcus asked us to show him where the septic and well were located. He said they would mark them off and work around them. We came over to our property to find the inexperienced operator ripped the water pump from the well and there was no sign of where the well was anymore. When I confronted Marcus about it he said they had to rip it out to remove the concrete around it. We were not given a choice and not even told this was going to happen. We would have asked them to leave that area of concrete had we been told they were going to rip the pump out. The well is damaged and will cost thousands to repair. Fourth, Marcus was initially just using a 30 yard dumpster but it was only being dumped once a day so the job was taking a long time. He decided, without consulting us, to hire a trucking company to haul the debris off. This added a large amount to the bill and was not part of the estimate. Fifth, when we asked Marcus about the the current cost of the project (while all these trucks are coming in and out), he said we were around $4000. We asked him to stop until we could get a total cost before it went beyond our budget of $6000. He assured us we were right around the budget. A few days later (work had been stopped) he gave us a total of $9200. We were furious and told him not to work anymore and we didn't want to go a dime over the $9200. He agreed and got his equipment. A few days later we received a final invoice of $11,400. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

They expertly cleared the land and mulched the debris, turning overgrown and unusable land into car-ready parking areas in just a few hours. The project results were outstanding.
