I would highly recommend Tom McCrank of MCK Construction, for the removal and replacement of a wooden banister. He gave me support from the offset providing me with brochures and guidance on the different types of wood available and the different finishes we could achieve. All the products he used were sourced using local suppliers and the old banister was removed cleanly and efficiently with minimal disruption. I opted for a White Oak banister and the end result was of a very high standard with my desired natural clear varnish finish. The areas around the new banister were finished with edging and facings to give the ultimate end product, and I was very happy with these finishing touches and the attention to detail. I found Tom to be very reliable and the job was finished slightly below the estimated price, which was a nice surprise. I would happily use MCK Construction again in the future. read more

MCK Construction have just refurbished my bathroom to a very high standard. They took care of ordering all the materials and fittings, organising all the tradesmen and kept me well informed thought the whole process. I also used MCK Construction to install maintenance free UPVC fascia and guttering around the entire property. In both instances I have found all the workmen to be extremely friendly and efficient and found their prices reasonable. The guy was advertised as a qualified joiner with experience, he arrived on time and did an excellent job. He removed the door, fixed it and replaced it perfectly. Very friendly and professional, would reccomend to anyone. read more
