I have been working with them for approximately 5 months to fix storm damage that happened…read moremid-March 2025. 5 months and our house is only half done. 5. Each time a crew has been out - a different crew each time - there has been something done in correctly or damage done to our property. When the roof was done, the crew pulled their trailer and left a long rut in our yard from where they pulled away. The subcontractors installed 2 whirly birds directly across from each other on the lowest point of the roof. They also added 2 additional roof vents that I did not ok and wasn't even asked if we wanted them. I had to call. When our siding was done, the crew broke one of our outdoor LED lightbulbs and crushed a bush on the side of our house. They never said a word about either and I caught it after they left. I just received word that the next phase should be next week but they gave my number to the gutter guy. E.E. should be the ones handling all aspects of the repair and coordinating things. Not passing it off to the homeowner. Once the insurance adjuster approved the claim, they have not reached out to me to keep me informed of anything. I have to reach out to E.E. for any updates and ask about progress. They have not reached out to me with updates on anything. I expected them to do the work and not subcontract it out. Perhaps that is on me or I should've known. But I did not expect them to be general contractors that use sub-par crews. My first sign this wouldn't go well was being required to sign a binding contract if I wanted the bid (that was my understanding anyway), that if my insurance claim was approved that I must use them for repair. Non-existent communication. Bad crews. Dragging out a process and being strung along for 5 months in a half-completed job because they know they'll get the money anyway. This whole process has been a joke. The company is unprofessional. Use someone else and save the headache. I will not use them again and will recommend others to stay away.

Would not ever use anyone else for remodeling or roofing work. He is very knowledgeable and has contacts for all projects needed.i needed foundation work before my remodel and he had a contact that was half the cost of the other quote I got.i had a full gut kitchen remodel and new countertops for restroom. My kitchen and restroom are top notch now! Fast at getting the job done. I will be using for any future projects. Go with them, you will not regret it!!

We had hail damage from a storm in July and our roof and gutter downspouts needed to be replaced…read more We had Travelers Homeowners insurance and JCP Roofing is one of their recommended contractors. I contacted John, the owner, who promptly came out, got on the roof and inspected it, and said his team could replace the roof within 6 weeks, which was good with our schedule. Our house has a turret with an 18 on 12 roof pitch so this was NOT an easy roof to replace either. John submitted a contract that specified the type and amount of shingles, materials for the code upgrade, roof tear off and gutter downspout details. He asked for payment of my deductible and the front half of the insurance payment on the day they arrived to start the job. He also said he would provide a lien waiver upon completion and receipt of the final payment. Another roofer wanted half down on contract signing and when I asked about a lien waiver, I was told I would have to talk to the owner about that. They went out of business a few weeks later... Our roof size is 53 squares. JCP Roofing removed and replaced the roof in 2 DAYS. Quality is outstanding and after the cleanup, I would have never known they were there. The gutter downspouts were replaced a few weeks later and it took his team a few hours to do that. Those also look great and they added a couple of extensions as needed to direct the water anyway from the house. John is very personable and professional and easy to work with. His team does great work so if you need a new roof JCP Roofing is your go to company.
