Oh my where do I start!!! Let's see, first thing first, this is by far THE WORST place I think you could live in Sarasota. Like the person below me, I also would not even want my enemy to have to live in such a place like Mcintosh. From the RUDE ( which is an understatement) ladies who "work" or gossip whichever you'd like to call it in the office, to the nosey maintenance men who have nothing better to do but stare and watch your apartment like they are anything above a maintenance man. Trust me when I say, every thing is peachy and sweet until you move in and right after, it is a complete 180.. Apparently they can't fathom the fact that younger people these days can afford their OVERLY EXPENSIVE cubby holes, so they look for ANY reason to call you and tell you what your not doing right. Which they fail to mention when you move in that trash is $20 a bag if they see it for more then 2 minutes outside your door, or if you have a trash can on your porch? Oh or if you park in the spot that says Handicap that the brilliant maintenance men put up on the regular spots but have yet to put the signs where they actually go. The funny thing is, is they called the cops because I kept parking in the spot, like everyone else, but I didn't see the cops at any other residence house for parking in the fake "handicap" spot the maintenance men had put up. Oh and speaking of the maintenance men, who are nothing but creeps, apparently word on the street is when I moved in the two short, wide ones were placing bets on who was "going to get at it first" telling my neighbor across the street? I should file a police report, which I am still debating on because after hearing about that after I've moved out I am disgusted. That whole place is nothing but trash and they try to make it seem like it is somewhere everybody wants to live. That is FALSE, since I have moved there every week somebody is moving out. I have NEVER left a review let alone a bad review on ANYTHING but for this I just couldn't help myself. If I could help one person by warning them and change their mind about moving here, then mission accomplished. MCINTOSH APARTMENTS IS BY FAR THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE, and I can't stress enough about how unbelievably RUDE the whole office staff is once you've moved in.
And one more thing... to the person who moved in with stains on their carpet!!! They must have not charged the previous tenant $400 like they did me for "pet stains" when I have a cat that has been litter box trained for 15 years. There was MAYBE one SMALL stain from a drink on the carpet that was barely visible and they want $400 for that when you say they gave you an apartment with stains on the carpets anyways!!??? You see what I mean folks, NOT somewhere you would want to live. read more
