First of they gave me an apt full of roaches. It was so disgusting. We just moved out of state and paying 1500 a month I wouldnt have thought I would be in an apt of roaches. I have pictures of all the feces throughout the apt. There was tons of roach poop in the cabinets, dishwasher, and washer. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. So I called them thinking they would feel bad as most companies would. Not McIntosh, they tried to say my ocd family brought the roaches with us and they had a pooping party within days. It was the most rudest thing I have ever experienced in all my 22 apts I lived in. So I called the top bug company and they told them there was absolutely no way my family and I could have brought them and they put that much feces everywhere. Talk about embarrassing. Then my child got bite by bugs all over him. I have the pictures of my bites and my 3 yr old child's. It broke my heart. I had to beg and beg, crying and crying to management and corporate to move me. They actually wanted me to pay a relocation fee and for the movers. We just paid thousands to come from another state and my son's father traveled and I couldnt lift everything alone. I wanted a first floor since I had a 3 year old, but had to move upstairs. Finally convinced them to pay for the movers and they complained about it. And they made me pay it first which I had just spent so much money to get there. They took it off my next month rent. Now here begins the hell of these apartments. Pls be aware they do not care about their residents at all. I have worked for property management and I have never seen ppl being treated like I did here. My son's father had a massive stroke in the apartments and became disabled, nonverbal and paralyzed on his right side and had to have decompressive craniotomy. The most serious brain surgery when dealing w a stroke. I was losing everything so fast. They would not work w me on anything. So my 3 yr and I had to break the lease which costed me over 4000 dollars. Mind you this is Christmas and my 3 yr old. The office is absolutely horrible. The blonde lied to me about everthing. She said I could pay any amount for 6 months and then I could work it out with the credit company. Hahaha that was a lie. I have proof of me calling them, they never answer the phone. Ever!!! So make sure u dont move out of state because you will have to go up there if you need to talk. I had to leave state. I started calling and messaging asking how much I owe. I have the messages and the phone calls I made which I showed them and corporate. I went all the way to the top and they did not care. They told me in the messages they would get back to me. But of course they never did. By this time there is the pandemic so our country goes to pieces. So of course no one is answering and no one messages me back with how much I owe. No one emails me or anything. So I figured due to the lack of response and due to the pandemic they are shut down and contacting ppl later. Nope they put me in collections!!!! They made it all my fault with the proof of me calling and messaging many times, but it was all my fault. Well I had a letterhead letter stating my job was halted due to the virus and I had a letter stating my son's father who is now disabled stating that disability office is affecting the structure of recieving disability. I send it to them bexause they want me to almost 700 a month. I lost everything and they would not work w me on payments with all the proof I just stated. They still want there 700 bucks even the the apt was rented out immediately when I broke the lease. Of course they told me it was rented to a man and his daughter the day i signed the broken lease. Smart cause if they told me the day before I wouldnt have settled on paying the 2 months, i would have taken the other choice to pay until someone rented it. But, hey we are only losing everything and my son's father is never going to work and they know my adorable son and me so let's f*** us some more. Anyways, they worked out a horrible deal w me to get it back from collections as long as I am never late paying it. I plead and tell them my son and I are now homeless. They dont care there is only a virus stopping the world at this point. I paid every payment on time as my truck got repossessed and I am living on a air mattress at a friend's house. But, guess what? Two days ago collection calls me saying I didnt pay for june. Not only do I have the receipt I paid from there website. I paid early and I paid more than what was needed. So as a scared homeless mother I call them for two days and email wondering why they are doing this to me now. No response from anyone. I messaged the leasing office, corporate and everyone else I could google and not one person responded to me. They are putting a broken lease on my credit and I paid every single payment on time during a pandemic. read more

Front office has worst staff I have ever encountered. They are almost impossible to get in touch with and the manager is very angry and aggressive. While the trees provide shade they also drop crap all over your car every day no matter where you park. Also a ton of pollen so if you have allergies STAY AWAY. Everything is very outdated and it's a very noisy complex. read more

I'm sure this will get deleted because Yelp can't be trusted. Just like McIntosh Apartments can't be trusted. If I could go back in time, I would never ever ever choose to live in this apartment complex. Unfortunately we were in a rush to find a place and McIntosh was the first place to pop up on google. How bad could it be right? Well worse than we ever imagined. We moved in and within one week our two cats became infested with fleas. The management swore there was no animal before us, but the bag of dog food and dog poop/puke stains we found inside the apartment determined that was a lie. They don't even deep clean the apartment before you move in for god's sake. Well after hundreds and hundreds of dollars we finally got rid of those fleas, but it will forever traumatize us. besides the fleas, though, the apartments are just completely ugly and outdated. I do admit that the maintenance is the only redeeming part of this place, they are always on time and fix whatever you need. However, I've never had so many maintenance requests in my life! Seems like its time to renovate. Also, the dishwasher had disgusting black mold in it which I'm sure has permanently given me respiratory problems. Just do yourself a favor and don't live here. If they charged 400 a month, ok fine because you get what you pay for, but they are asking for $1000+ a month for a tiny crappy one bedroom apartment!! They are just plain crooks, there is no other way around it. And they are liars. They will charge you for ridiculous things that should be illegal to charge. I would just stay away, far far far away from this place. read more

I miss the Friday socials, they had great egg rolls and pizza. The apartment is nice, my roommate kind of sucks, so that's probably the biggest drawback. John, if you're reading this, buy some toilet paper you cheap bastard. They could update the gym, that would be nice. But, maintenance takes care of any issues, interactions with staff have been nice. read more

I love this place! It is very nice living here. The staffs are very nice, very friendly, and very helpful. The maintenance teams are very helpful and nice, they resolve any problems you may have very promptly. The buildings look nice and clean. The place is quiet and safe. Lots of trees and ponds so it feels very calm with nature and feels very nice to walk around. Very convenience area, close to lots of grocery places such as Publix, Target, Walmart, etc. Only 15 minutes to downtown. We've been living here for 4 years and never wanna look for another place elsewhere. I HIGHLY recommend this apartments to everyone, you will not be disappointed! :) read more

Between the lack of professionalism at the office, the outdated apartments, and small space in the apartments I would look else where for the money. The grounds are beautiful when you drive through but the walkways and entryways can look like a jungle when the up keep has not been done. read more
