Clearly the days of major appliances lasting 30 years are long gone + being able to get local service if needed is now a huge buying factor. Again... they cancelled out of the blue. Finally we found Groves Tv and Appliances in Clinton. I can't say enough wonderful things about them. They not only assured us they would have it to us in a few days, but in seeing the delivery truck arrive today, I was amazed. One person in the delivery truck and up behind pulled a work van with the second person. They obviously care about their staff! They then unboxed the freezer for us and put in inside the door, which is a blessing for the elderly. Finally, the freezer was sprayed so we would not be exposed to anything coming in here. Again, totally amazing. I will in future take all of my business to Groves. Such care and consideration for not only their staff, but also the customer is something not often seen. Not normal according to kitchen aid. about 2 weeks after the install we found water had been leaking down into the basement and when we pulled the fridge out we discoverEd the water line had not been installed properly and had been leaking and ruined the whole side panel of the cupboards in our brand new house. when we approached them with the issue Darcy told is it was our problem because apparently after you have a "professional" install your appliances you are then supposed to pull said appliance out from the wall and make sure it doesn't leak???? A friendly no pressure discussion about the various product lines which they themselves use in their home provided us with the initial feeling of honesty. We briefly checked online for comparable pricing and that was not an issue. The promise of direct contact through them for all of our service needs was also high on our list. There was also a no pressure sales tactic on warranties etc. it was a discussion that allowed us to decide for ourselves with no judgement. The gentlemen that came to install new and take away the old were very polite and demonstrated an educated product knowledge. They gave us whatever time we needed to become familiar with the product and they were in and out in a personable, clean and timely manner. We will recommend this business to our anyone who asks.

Teppermans seems to have a habit of putting a bandage on problems until their one year warranty is up and then throwing you away being disloyal. I do not recommend buying from here or any teppermans as they will screw you out of money and lots of their stuff is poorly built. Their solution for me is to spend MORE money buying a rug even though I already purchased the pads they told me would fix the issue and that I would be reimbursed for them and I never was. Thank you to the Business Manager, Jay, for the explanation regarding the Bosch FD codes. Following your reply, I contacted Bosch directly with the Bill of Lading. They confirmed that the confusion stemmed from the fact that the manufacturing code numerals (0512) was buried in the middle of the lengthy serial number string on your paperwork. The unit was indeed manufactured in December 2025. While I appreciate Jay clarifying this now, it is baffling that this information had to come via a management reply to a negative review, rather than from the staff I actively contacted multiple times. I am updating this to 2 stars only because the unit was technically new, but the service experience remains a 1-star disaster. This situation highlights a severe lack of accountability that I am seeing mentioned in many other recent reviews of CAS: great at taking money, terrible at after-sales support. The root cause of this mess is my original sales representative, Ayaan Syed. He was incredibly responsive right up until he secured the sale. Post-sale, he ghosted me completely. Despite multiple attempts to contact him throughout the whole week, he never replied. If a sales rep cannot support their client or explain the product specs after taking a $5,000 order, they shouldn't be in sales. Meanwhile, the delivery team lacked the training to read a Bosch serial number, and Sapna from After Sales Support simply told me that CAS cannot confirm if the unit I received was manufactured in 2025 (see screenshot for her reply). I ended up cancelling the original order after that. Finally, come January, Jay stepped in and confirmed that the unit was indeed from 2025. But I had to place a brand new order now, and the price jumped from $4,490 to $4,740. My new rep, Adam Abuiso, was a pleasure to deal with, but he was unable to honor the original price. I am now out of pocket nearly $300 purely because the CAS team instructed me incorrectly on their own inventory. I have been a loyal customer of Canadian Appliance Source for over 10 years, but this is not the service I expect. Forcing a long-term client to pay a higher price because your staff failed to provide basic product information is a steep decline in business ethics.
