The equipment is slightly older than other parks in the city however and the basketball court has no lines and the hoop itself is a bit old. Other than that a wonderful place to bring kids. Perfect for walks around the perimeter(which is paved), jogging and yoga. The grassy area is large enough for soccer, football or anything in between. Even drone flying is perfect for this park.

One of the few downsides is that it can get windy at times, so playing with a frisbee is a bit of a pain, but that's Bangor for you.

The reason for the 4 star review instead of a 5 star review is the fact that there is not a decent sized grassy area for the Kansas did to entertain themselves with a ball or something. I could've said well the pool is enough to make this 5 star, but a park/playground should always have a grassy area imho. This is however just about the perfect park in the area regardless of the rating I gave it.

The pool area has changed my rooms bathrooms and showers. There is a fee for residents and non residents which is $2 and $4 respectively. The pictures I took do the pool no justice as I took them in mid October so the pool was obviously dirty and hadn't been maintained since closing for the season. The playground has very new equipment and is clean and well maintained. There is a large grassy area nearby the basketball court for frisbee, running your dog or whatever you may like to do. The park is adjacent to the Mansfield Sports Complex which hosts the Senior League World Series each August. This park has it all a must visit for any parent and kids of all ages.
