Even when service was slow as they made their way through all of the customers, they always came back with a smile. My husband had the wings with tots and said the tots were the highlight of his meal. I had the turkey salad and it was delicious. The true star of the show, though? Was the chips & peno dip starter. It was SO good we inhaled it before I even thought to snap a pic. I'll be thinking of that tangy-creaminess for a while!

We live about 45 minutes from Kenwood Theater, but they were the closest theater showing the…read moreManhattan Short Film Festival so we made the drive to Cincinnati. Ordering tickets and choosing our seats online was quick and easy. The theater itself was very small - about 30 seats. The recliners were comfy and even were heated, if you wanted. It's a smaller establishment, with a nice vibe. The concession stand was right as you walk in, and looked more like a candy store and then through another set of doors, they had a nicely stocked bar and lots of seating and tables in a very nice lounge area. The whole place, including the restrooms was clean and well taken care of. It is quite a drive for us, but I will definitely keep an eye open for special events like the one we went to. We really enjoyed it!

quick thoughts: 1) The menu was basic, with just enough…read morevariety that anyone should be able to find something they'd like. I really appreciated the local sourcing, like the Silverglades chicken salad, Montgomery Inn pulled pork, Avril Bleh brisket, fish with Frisch's tarter sauce, and United Dairy Farmers ice cream. 2) The wait staff was prompt - whenever I pressed the button to summon them someone arrived at my seat quickly to take an order or bring refills. 3) I received exactly what I ordered. My husband on the other hand was the recipient of a number of things that he did not order - those were promptly taken away when he summoned staff and told them of the issue - and he never received the popcorn that he did order. 4) The chicken sandwich was fine - nothing special, but I have no complaints about it. I didn't care for the fries, I prefer shoestring fries and these were too chunky for me. 5) I learned that I don't like eating in the dark. I prefer to be able to see what I'm eating.
