From…read morethe moment I walked through its doors as a student, I was surrounded by a loving, Christ-centered community that genuinely cared about my spiritual, academic, and personal growth. Now, as a parent, I am thrilled that my children will have the same opportunity to experience the amazing education and nurturing environment this school offers. The dedicated teachers and staff go above and beyond to ensure each child thrives, both in their faith and in their studies. The curriculum is challenging yet supportive, and the focus on character development and leadership is unparalleled. I am confident my kids will not only excel academically but also grow into compassionate, grounded individuals who are ready to make a positive impact on the world. I couldn't imagine a better place for them to learn and grow! If you're looking for a school that feels like family and puts Christ at the center of everything, this is the one.

Wholesome Christ centered atmosphere atmosphere, Christian first based education. Every teacher our child has had contact with, had done a great job shaping and making them ready for the next step. I'm really glad we made the decision to attend the school.

TL;DR: don't send your kid here if you want them to hate themself, unless they are a... minority?…read more Horrible. This school has made me hate myself, and I'm surrounded by bad kids all the time. I'm a student here, and so many things are wrong with this school. For example, the Muslims are put above everyone else at the school, the "pepperoni" isn't even real pepperoni and tastes bland. All of the kids are always screaming, getting mad at each other, fighting, and bullying. It's horrible for me in the classroom. oh and also last year, we had to read a book last year that made me feel uncomfortable. It may be the education board for that, but regardless it still has. The same happened for this year. Also, they once forced us to sit outside in the sweltering heat for a soccer game some of us didn't even care about, which I am pretty sure against the law. Talking about against the law, they have cameras in the bathroom! That's a violation of privacy! This school is a very bad place to send a person of this type to as well: White (this is real). Christian (this is also real). Autistic/Neurodivergent Easily bullied I hope I'll never see this school again!

Student's Perspective - Culture: After being an educator for over 10 years, I have yet to meet a student who genuinely loves school. Many students love different aspects of school, but for a student to choose school over any other activity, the school would have to be extremely amazing or extremely laissez-faire. There is no doubt in my mind that if you send your child to this school, they will be successful if they follow the regimen to the letter. However, school for students can start as early as 7:00 am, if parents drop off their child early but no later than 7:40. As soon as they get into their advisory class (1st PD), the early arrival kids will begin working on a journal topic of sorts while they wait for the rest of the class to arrive. 3 days out of the week, advisory is used to have meetings around school culture with students, turning every student into a law abiding citizen, for the most part, and drastically reducing anxiety for everyone of them. Students rarely experience bullying, inequality, or unfairness from anybody at this school. They are heavily monitored and the expectation is for them to be quiet in the classroom, the hallways, and in other general settings while meetings are taking place. Where as for other public schools this might be just an expectation, the teachers and leadership team do a large amount of training to ensure that the expectation is enforced. If you've never been at this school while in session, it's impressive alone just seeing everyone move from class to class. One of the few things that students do get anxiety about, though, is the way the restroom is handled for them. They are only allowed to go during the first ten minutes of every class period. If they miss that time block to ask for permission, they aren't allowed to go. There is a system in place in case of emergencies, but too often I've requested someone to come relieve one of my students to go to the restroom after the reserved block and I don't get a response, so the child sits there holding it in. It has gotten better, but it's disheartening to see. The idea behind this is, child safety, protection of school property, and equity of a learning experience for all. Let me know what other aspects of this school you are interested in hearing about. I will try to remain as impartial as I possibly can.

I graduated from the University of Tennessee undergraduate and graduate school and loved it but most of my graduating class went to Ivy League schools, Vanderbilt and even Cal Tech .If you are a high level student and want a high level education the University School of Nashville will provide you with a great education.

The campus is beautiful especially with recent state of the art renovations and the staff that I have encountered were all very passionate about leveraging a student's, artistic, intellectual and athletic potential. As we all know education is a major issue in our country but this school appears to be part of the elite schools that offer an outstanding educational experience from grade school through high school graduation. It's going to cost you though, with grade school tuition at around $16,000 a year and high-school hovering at $18,000.... you must invest or pray to god they offer your student financial aid which is available. The good news is USN gives over $1.8 million in need-based financial aid to 18% of the students. Even attending the Artclectic event showcased how USN truly invests into it's educational model and really stands out from the pack of sub-par schools that are unfortunately part of the thread of the city.
