Best Dentist Appointment I've ever had!…read more All of the staff were wonderful! From the doctor to the receptionist! All wonderful people! The office was nice and super clean with medical grade air purifiers. My dental hygienist (Kristy) was so sweet and it was the first time my mouth wasn't sore after a cleaning. I've already called my family for them to book their next appointments. The office had pictures of the Loretto Chapel and the stairs that were built. It was a cute detail!

They are all so sweet and welcoming. Dr. Mackey is well experienced and is great at explaining things. For nearly all of my visits. I have had Lindsey clean my teeth who was super sweet and gentle. My last visit I had Amanda who was welcoming and super thorough! It was slightly uncomfortable, but i appreciate her thoroughness. For cleaning flavors. I recommend the birthday cake! During the visit, there's a small waiting room with a tv and keurig. In the cleaning rooms, there's a tv on the wall and ceiling to make time go by. At the end, you get a goody bag with a new toothbrush, floss, and toothpaste.

He has gradually added more staff. The first Hygienist was Mary N. She has cleaned my teeth since she started there. About 4 times now. Friendly, extremely competent and makes you genuinely feel comfortable and relaxed while she gives your teeth and mouth a comfortable house cleaning. My only complaint would be the Ice water rinse after the application of the polishing agent. Although it was cold, it was refreshing and I left alert and more aware of my surroundings than when I arrived. Dr Tenney did his usual gentle probing inspection afterward and found no cavities. Of course there was no "up-sale" for whitening programs, and whatever might be the latest money making "ad on's" that most dental offices hit you with. Just the usual and customary plastic bag with a new toothbrush, travel paste and plastic flossing tools. By the way, there are now 4 hygienist and several receptionist and Dr Tenney. I love this place!

Dr. Amin called me the next morning to make sure I was doing alright. I thought that was thoughtful. But being thoughtful is one thing. Being amazing at your craft is another. Flower Mound Family Dentistry is an unscrupulous office overcharging for services and misleading…read moreabout insurance coverage I called to verify they take BCBS and file claims for payment before booking appointment. Was told that they took it and I would only have to pay $50 deposit which would be deducted from my co-pay or refunded if no copay. In same phone call, I informed them I only needed a cleaning and nothing else since I had just had all x-rays done 6 months before at previous dentist and would have records sent to them. So i paid the deposit, had my old dentist forward my records, and spent over an hour completing all the on-line forms for their office. When I showed up to appointment, they presented me with this HUGE bill to pay before they do anything. When I reminded them about the insurance verification and filing, I was told they did not know how much would be refunded to me by insurance so I would have to pay and then wait to see. Since I felt lied to, I cancelled the appointment for which they charged me $150!

The entire staff is incredibly kind, patient, and helpful--they truly go above and beyond to make both parents and kids feel at ease. Dr. Dean is exceptional. He's personable, calm, and has a natural way of connecting with children. My little one went from being anxious to actually excited about coming to the dentist! The office itself is thoughtfully designed with kids in mind--intimate and cozy without feeling crowded. The waiting room has iPads to keep kids entertained, and there's even a drawer full of toys for them to choose from after their visit. Inside the treatment rooms, TVs are mounted on the ceilings so kids can watch their favorite shows while getting dental work done--such a brilliant touch! Plus, the rooms are secluded for added comfort and privacy, and everything is spotless. We also opted into their in-house dental package instead of using traditional dental insurance, and it's been one of the best decisions we've made--affordable, transparent, and comprehensive. Highly, highly recommend this practice to any parent looking for a top-tier pediatric dental experience!

I'm required to be there and check in on time, but it is rare, if it has ever happened, that they pull up their end of the bargain. Explain today that the children's grandmother's viewing was today, ask how close they could be to his actual appointment time, and the receptionist said it is probably better that we just reschedule stating that they're far behind, per usual. Usually the front desk staff are rude but here, the dentist, front desk staff, dental hygeinist are all amazing. The dentist is not a car salesman.
