I had Dr Fred Courtney as my OBGYN when he worked for another hospital and jumped at the chance to…read morefollow him to his new location. The choice was well worth it, even being a two hour one way trip. Dr Courtney is the kind of doctor you don't let slip from your grasp. He is understanding, explains things well, acts proactively, he listens to his patients, and he makes sure they are comfortable with the plan. He will make sure that his patient comes first. The staff at this office are much nicer than most I have met, the girls are sweet and explain things well. Dr Jolitz seems like a well respected doctor in his own right, when I met him he was very friendly and polite. I just had surgery, done by Dr Courtney, and I'm feeling quite good, considering the nature of the procedure. The hospital staff were skilled and worked with me as well. More ladies should have Dr Courtney as their physician, he's very good at his job and will treat you as a human being and not just another chart.

The support staff is also truly friendly and helpful. Everyone, from secretary Lori, to the assistant (I didn't catch her name!), to Dr Anna and the assistant that helped us look at frames, were truly kind and patient. Highly recommend this office!

At the end of the visit, he was told that he owed $168! We have never been charged for an eye exam since it's covered for one a year. That's when we found out that because he wears contacts, they charged him for an eye exam AND for a contact exam?!?! Never heard of such! We've gone to Pearle Vision and other Eye Specialists in Columbus and have NEVER been charged for two eye exams. We asked for the contact prescription, and got the same response as the lady above. They didn't really want to give it to us and wanted us to order the contacts through them. That said, they did find an issue with his eyes and the contacts that they finally found worked for him. Jury is still out on what we'll do next year. We'll go to this eye specialist and see what happens there.

I cannot gush enough about how great this place is. They really did take excellent care of my…read moremother and connected with her, joked with her, treated her well even when she was being very difficult and actually cared for her as a person. She liked her room and the fact that she had her own bathroom. The food was good, I tried it! They cook from scratch and make a pretty mean shrimp alfredo, pork roast and lasagna. They included me in decisions regarding her care and got my mom back up on her feet and back home again. And it is very charming and VERY VERY clean inside. They even had outdoor spaces for Mom to hang out in. All of the staff from the cleaning department to management were very friendly and helpful and always took time to talk to me when I wanted. I hope you never need a nursing home, but if you ever do this is the place you want. You are not just another client to them, they treat you like you are a real person and a real family that needs real help. And they gave us real help and real hope.
