So I think the question we need to ask ourselves is over the many years. Has McDonald's changed from a fast food restaurant to a fine dining restaurant? But on second thought it doesn't take 30 minutes in a fine dining restaurant to get your meal more like 20 minutes. And I remember a time when I used to be able to go in a McDonald's and I would be in and out in 10 minutes or less. But now, it seems to be a mandatory 25 minute confinement in McDonald's. In order to get your order and oftentimes, they make it wrong. Have to recook it and you're in there for over an hour. But I only get a 30 minute break from work So that's bad for my business and bad for McDonald's business.!! Not surprised that this place had bad reviews. I ordered a mobile order for a medium Diet Coke and medium fries. The fries were cold and unsalted as what it tasted like. Beware of this location, especially in the AM, when using your mobile app. They will accept your order, then when you get to the window tell you they're not serving it, and laugh at you when you ask for a refund. I ordered a large FRESH French Fries. I asked the manager to please tell the lady to get them fresh. He said there was no need because he put it on her screen. Ok. I waited 10 minutes and the lady brought me Fries that had been sitting there 10 minutes. I told her no, that I had ordered Fries that were fresh and that I would wait until the ones frying now came up. She rudely did not even acknowledge that I spoke to her but turned and continued filling other orders. Then the manager went and got them for me, set them down and didn't say any word at all. Fries were good but the filet-o-fish sandwich I was craving was a big disappointment. The cheese on the sandwich was dried out and rubbery and so was the corners of the fish, which was 2/3rds of the size it used to be and it was barely warm. Meh, I've had much better. This McDonald's is located in a Pilot. The staff are wearing masks but not wearing gloves and witnessed them touching various surfaces while putting together drive-thru food orders. To be fair, the Pilot workers, the second Pilot I've entered and exited quickly, aren't enforcing masks rules. But let's be honest, on my way to NJ from Texas, I only ate at a Chilis because they were following health standards vs the fast food places like this McDonald's wear no one was wearing gloves and hardly any of the customers had masks on. even though the entry doors adorned the "Mask Required to Enter" signs. Not even the local cop in his bulletproof vest was wearing a mask inside the store that is openly connected to the Pilot building. I went to grab lunch and when I was there nobody would take my order, I stood there for about 30 mins, while I was standing there, there was a guy named Mike he was on his phone the entire time, he would help his employee he was really rude to them and also lie to them about things and the employee. The bun steamer went out an I was unaware, well when I took a bite out of my sandwich the bun was very hard so hard I couldn't eat it. I was very hungry an I still tried to pull off some bread but it didn't help it was hard all over. I visit the store there very often an have never had no major issues. When I looked in my bag I could not find the receipt for my purchase of the two sandwiches and I was sure without it they would not help me by correcting my order.
