It may not look much from the outside, but as the previous reviewer said its a lot bigger than it looks!
It has seating for many people over two levels.
Again the toilets are upstairs and a little seculded, just to be cautious go with your children. They have now introduced a single disabled toilet downstairs, a key needs to be obtained from the tills to use it however.
Due to its town centre location, it can get very busy at peak times and weekends. This does cause a few issues.
- despite it having two large dining areas over two floors finding a table can be difficult.
- You can sometimes wait in line longer than the time it takes to actually eat your food.
- there may also be a further wait for your food after ordering as they don't always manage to keep up with the rush.
- due to the disorganised queuing system (which involves customers forming a crowd around the tills) people who joined the Que after you may be served before you.
So best to avoid weekends and between around 12 til 2.
The food is exactly what you would expect from a macdonalds restaurant, quickly cooked and seemingly thrown together in a rush. The food temperature can vary, it can either be scalding hot, or lukewarm if it's been sitting a while. Either way the temperature drops rather quickly, so eat fast before it goes cold. read more
