Fraudulent Charge after visiting McDonald's.
Vincent M.

Stopped by this McDonald's for two Happy meals for the kids. Used a credit card to purchase. The teller at the window was acting suspicious, took my card and made sure to close the drive through window. Little odd since I have the tap to pay card. Took her more time than usual to charge my card, which was odd, but not too bad. Then when I puled up to get my food. I notice the vehicle behind me use the tab feature and the drive-through teller reached out with the machine. I specifically have a credit card for weekend purchases and fraudulent protection. McDonald's was the only place I used my credit card this past weekend. Then right after leaving McDonald's, there was a $700 charge from my card to MRC-573-445-4391 MO. If I went anywhere else, I wouldn't have been confident to blame the McDonald's employee. However, I can for sure say, the McDonald's employee at the drive through register stole my credit card information. I have the receipt, will do McDonald's survey, contact Franchise manager and corporate office. And depending on time. Press criminal charges. Be careful all. I work hard for every dollar I have and am willing to fight to keep it. Be safe ya'll.

McRib, the limited time seasonal treat for November 2023.

This is McDonald's so expectations should be realistic. Just stick to the items you like so there is no debate. I always like to get a double hamburger, chicken nuggets, or a Filet O'Fish. They are basic but consistent. The fries are good here as well and the breakfast items will be filling. Whenever it is available, I order the McRib. This is a polarizing item but I grew up with it and like it very much. I try to get a few when they are available each year. Albeit, there are some years they are not so good but 2023 had a good tasting McRib sandwich. I like to use the mobile online app and pick up in the drive-thru line. Sometimes my order is ready by the time I get to the pick-up window, sometimes it is not. I am then sent to a numbered parking space in the lot to wait. There will ALWAYS be a car parked in that space that should not be there but the McDonald's employee always manages to find me. The people in my assigned space this time were chowing down on their food and so were the people in the pick-up space next to where I was parked. This is probably an on going problem. The lot is small so people just eat their meal in any available parking space. Overall, it is McDonald's and pretty good for traditional fast food.

My orders were large fries well done & a large coke slushy. It was quite disappointing when I was told that they don't have the coke slushy but they can offer me the blue one. Had I known the coke slushy wasn't ready, I wouldn't have ordered it. They did offer to give me a frappe but it was already 5 pm that I shouldn't have too much caffeine and it would have been more work for them so, I opted for a large coke. The bathroom and the restaurant were clean and that's a plus. When I tried my fries, it wasn't well done either. It tasted like it was freshly out of the fryer but not well done.

Wouldn't recommend coming here as they always mess up on something. I ordered a 5$ meal and the drink had no carbonation and my fries were cold. The service is not good at all, they barely pay any attention to you. This is one of the worst mcdonald's i've ever been to and that says a lot.

McDonald's drive thru

After getting my car serviced at Valley Hi Toyota, I went to McDonald's to buy some chicken nuggets and apple pies for my daughters. They love them nuggets and pies! McDonald's (at least this one doesn't) no longer have the 40 pieces + 2 large fries for $16.00 which was a steal of a deal. Now they have 20 pieces for $8.99 or 40 pieces for $16.99. I went with the latter as it was still a better deal than 2 x 20 pieces. Also got 2 apple pies. McDonald's is like a treat for my girls. As long as they are fed and are happy, it's all that matters. Ordering through the drive thru was quick and easy. Line wasn't too long. Made payment and got my foods in a jiffy. Staff was okay... not too bubbly. They just want to get you out as soon as possible... not here to chit chat... just keeping it real! It's easier that way. If you happen to be in the high desert, swing on by and support your neighborhood McDonald's or if you're on your way up to Las Vegas or on your way back from it. Happy McDonald'ing!

Putting right food in bag would help and not making wait in the car for 11 minutes and then bringing a wrong item.

If you're driving between L.A. and Vegas, you're driving through Victorville -- and if you're in…read moreVictorville, you HAVE to stop for a meal at Emma Jean's Holland Burger Cafe, a roadside diner that's still thriving along an otherwise unremarkable stretch of the old Route 66. Luckily for them, and us, Emma Jean's is less than a mile from the D Street exit off the I-15, and the slight detour is absolutely worth the time, effort and planning. That proximity is keeping them busy and us well-fed! I visited twice in the last few days; for breakfast on the way out, and lunch on the way back. Both times there were plenty of people enjoying their meals -- and you should always go where the locals go. Built in 1947, and operated by the same family since the 1970's, Emma Jean's is a small, cinder block building with a parking lot that's partly paved, partly dirt. Their sign has seen better days, and you could say the same of their interior furnishings, but everything is kept clean and appealing by owners who take pride in what they're doing and really care about the details. Co-Owner, Brian, mans the grill with that same dedication to quality, deftly delivering diner classics made with top notch ingredients, including a number of items made from scratch on premises (from mac salad to a fresh-chopped salsa that packs plenty of flavor and a good deal of enjoyable heat). My first visit was for breakfast, and I ordered the Ham Steak With Eggs. To be specific, I ordered the HALF a ham steak, which was as big as a full serving almost anywhere. Grilled to a pleasing char with natural juices pooling a bit on the plate, the ham was both thick-sliced and tender. While the meat was smoky and salty from its brine, it was also liberally peppered during cooking, resulting in a bite that contrasted nicely with the mild creaminess of the egg yolks. I opted to not have the potatoes that normally come with the meal because I wanted to indulge in their Biscuits & Gravy, another menu item made from scratch to great effect. The biscuits are flaky and buttery, and would be satisfying with just some jam -- but, dipped in the peppery, house-made milk gravy, they really shine. Get a bit of ham on your fork with some biscuit and gravy, and you're in American Diner Fare Heaven. My return visit was for lunch 2 days later. I arrived around noon on a Sunday, and the place was humming. I nabbed the only available seat at the counter, and was immediately greeted by a young waitress with a big smile and a warm hello. I knew I wanted a burger, but which one? The diner's namesake Holland Burger is the first listed on the menu, and is essentially a traditional cheeseburger with all the trimmings. The Brian Burger (listed on the menu as "recommended") pairs a patty with Swiss Cheese and a grilled Anaheim Pepper, which are all served on Parmesan-Crusted Sourdough -- that won me over. I should add, they have a "regular" version (8oz patty) and a "petite" (4oz patty), and I opted for the petite, which was plenty. The Brian Burger is built with very good quality beef that's charred on their well-seasoned flattop, as is the spicy Anaheim pepper. The parmesan-crusted bread is griddled alongside the rest, soaking up myriad flavors from everything cooking nearby, which gives it a type of flavor you just can't get in a place that's brand new. The Swiss cheese is really the "semi-Swiss Cheese-flavored" white American that I would normally dislike, but in this case it melts just right and blends so well with the other ingredients that you realize they chose right. French Fries served with the burger were nicely crisped and seasoned, but I wanted to try their homemade Mac Salad, which really showed a lot of care. Finely diced onions and hard boiled egg are mixed with the macaroni, mayo and assorted seasoning -- and while the result was a little too sweet for my taste, I cannot deny the attention to detail paid while making this side. As mentioned before, they also make salsa in-house, and that was fantastic: fresh, garlicky, and nicely spicy, it was a terrific foil for the richness of the burger. Given the high quality food with great flavor, the fine service from a friendly staff, and the pure fun of stopping into a place with such history, having a meal at Emma Jean's feels like less of a choice and more of an inevitability -- and if that's our destiny, then our future is looking very bright.

For $1.00 more there was a combo deal that included fries and a beverage. The burger tasted good with a hint of charbroiled flavor. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles were fresh. The 1000 island dressing on the burger has a nice balance of sweet and tangy flavors. The bun was fairly large so I think a double patty would have been the right meat to bread ratio for the burger. I will keep that in mind for the next time. Service was polite. Dining room looked clean. This restaurant isn't technically fast food. The long line in their drive-thru just indicated to me that the food is being made to order. Definitely expect a wait if there are cars already in the drive-thru.

I've ordered a variety of items like ice cream, tacos, breakfast (pancakes, eggs, bacon), and desserts, and they've all been great. However, during my last couple of visits, I had some bad experiences with the food. I ordered 16 tacos (8 chicken and 8 steak), and they were extremely greasy the meat and even the plate were covered in grease. It honestly felt like a waste of money. The pastrami sandwich I ordered wasn't good either. I've never had issues like this before, so I'm not sure if it's the cook or whoever is preparing the food, but something has definitely changed. Unfortunately, these recent visits have changed my overall opinion of the place.
