This McDonald's was very clean very fast if you go in typically use the machine because it took a while for someone to go to the register. I didn't understand the first time I went there, but after I learned that the machines were way faster I started doing that and the service was so much better. The food was typical McDonald's. HORRIBLE customer service. As soon as we pulled up to the drive thru window the woman who took our order spoke so fast both my fiancé and I were not able to understand a word she said. My fiancé politely responded "I'm sorry?" and he was then met with a nasty "WHAT. CAN. I. GET. FOR. YOU." UMM EXCUSE ME???!!!! She took one whole second per word. I was so furious I wanted to yell at her so bad (but didn't). She did not have to be that rude at all!!! I don't understand why you're working in customer service if you can't treat customers with respect. Not only customers but people in general. My son has been sick all night because of this McDonald's. My son got a Big Mac and at other locations of McDonald's and has had no problems. At this location they must of left out the Big Mac sauce having it go bad overnight. As a parent I would never go to this place with your family or by yourself because of the risk of getting sick from anything they serve you. Employees are straight-up rude as hell. Drive-thru is the worse. Employees on the intercom do not know how to be polite. One unsatisfying thing about drive through. Every time you ask them for a straw napkin or condiments they always have rolled their eyes and slam the door. The managers are any different. Okay so they were jerks. We got out of our car after a long road trip and the worker started yelling at us saying "drive thru only" when we were just stretching out our legs. They didn't stop yelling at us until we got back in the car. When we went through the drive through they got mad at us for trying to order fries. Apparently it's "HAshBrOWNs oNLy" as he repeated multiple times without explaining why. We then had to wait 25 minutes for our food to come in the drive thru. Yeah. Worst experience ever. Got my order wrong twice. Ordered a quarter pounder without cheese, just meat and bun and ketchup and mustard. Had to repeat it a few time but finally got it. Not too bad since it was windy and a dive though. But at the window it had double cheese and the lady repeated it a million times before getting it right. Food was okay in the end. Not very hot. I am truly livid about my experience at this McDonald's location in Tuba City. I recently visited this restaurant on a cross country road trip with my brother. We decided to go here for dinner because it was really the only place open when we arrived in Tuba City and we both generally like McDonald's. We went inside and ordered at around 10:30pm and waited for our food. During the time that we were waiting (which, I might add, was an incredibly long wait at a time when there were very few customers), a security guard who was stationed inside the restaurant started to barricade the doors to the McDonald's, as if the restaurant was closing, but per all of the information we saw online, the restaurant shouldn't have been closing until 2am. I figured, they must just be shutting down some of the entrances, but will leave one open until 2am. When our food was ready, we looked around and noticed that every single door had been barricaded, and that two sketchy-looking guys were waiting outside of one of the doors of the restaurant. I walked over to the security guard and politely asked, "How do we exit?" He responded, with a very serious look on his face, "You don't." And then a few seconds later, he broke a smile, said, "Just kidding," and then proceeded to un-barricade one of the doors for us. I did not find this funny at all, and was honestly concerned that my brother and I were in danger and that the security guard was not going to let us leave. I don't think it is funny to make jokes like that, especially late at night, as it makes guests feel incredibly unsafe. I don't understand why this security guard felt this joke was appropriate, but I seriously hope that he gets, at the very least, a reprimand and learns how to better deal with customers. read more
