I think this place could really benefit from better staffing. I ordered a kids meal, and unfortunately, several of the items I requested were missing from the box. Goooood morning! I love McDonald's coffee with one and a half pumps of vanilla of course! Lol... one of those annoying habits or preferences that I have the tastes a few more minutes and some attention. This morning on the fly before work at eight I did the drive thru. When you ask for syrup there should be a quick stir so it not at the bottom. I also ordered an everything bagel toasted with butter and cream cheese. Wow, the cream cheese was everywhere in and out of the bag. What a mess! they forgot the butter... I've been to this location before and there is always something... Worst McDonald's. Staff don't understand English nor can they speak English properly. Huge problem with drive thru; always asking me to pull over at the side window even tho there's nobody behind me in line. Something about competition with other locations ?!?! Today and yesterday is the worst. Last night they served some homeless girl that walked into the car line asking for food. Took forever to get her sorted! I asked for a double-toasted bagel, she said "that will be burned double". I said "YAH I want it double toasted". The bagel was served not even toasted one time. Also, I wanted a mocha and they said "We have no mocha"... and this evening I stopped again and wanted a hot fudge sundae.... She said "We have no ice cream or milkshakes." I asked why not? This is an older Mickey Ds with 24 hour drive thru, free wifi, Mccafe, and a 40 inch plasma tv. They were showing Poker Allstars to cater to the seniors who frequently patron this location. Most of the customers are regulars with many retirees just reading newspapers and sipping their Mcdonalds coffee. The staff are are very fast as I see the same people working here most of the time. read more

Absolutely DISGUSTING! This has got to be the biggest black eye for the entire chain in BC. so much so that I reported this location to the corporate office, backed up with a call to Fraser Health authority, backed up by 10 pictures of the filthy carnage at this location. If I were the DM for McDonalds, I would either fire the manager for this location or put the franchisee on notice. The bathrooms had not been cleaned in weeks, the toilette paper dispenser and soap dispenser were ripped off the walls, toilet paper and human waste all over the floor and walls, the urinals had not seen any cleaners in weeks, no paper towels. Self Serve area (drink fountains) had the 'in-counter' garbage cans overflowing and back up on to the counter, melted ice cream everywhere, pop lids in disarray. All inside garbage cans overflowing and push doors jammed open, all outdoor garbage cans overflowing on to the side walk and massive cigarette butt collections on the grounds at all entrance doors. Lastly, the entire garbage refuse area outside in the rear had over 100 boxes of used oil thrown and not placed into garbage bins.... 6 feet high....rats everywhere. This location is nothing more than a hang out for drop outs, druggies and kids looking for trouble with NO Management present or that care. I would not bring my family to to this location EVER again. This is the most disgusting McDonald's restaurant I have ever visited. Walking in the door you are greeted by 5-10 high school kids hanging outside using very inappropriate language. Upon entering we found a table covered in a spilt drink that was not cleaned up by the time we left 30 minutes later after notifying staff. The food itself was fine, just like any other McDonald's. However the staff were quite rude and it seemed as though the two employees were arguing. We tried to pay with a gift card but were unsuccessful because the employee kept setting it to the regular debit/credit setting instead of gift card even after I asked her once again to please set it to gift card. read more

I went through the drive thru this past Sunday at about 11:45pm. There were 3 cars in front of me and about 3 behind. I waited 11 minutes before even getting to the ordering station, and then after ordering I waited ANOTHER 21 minutes. I spent 32 minutes total in the drive thru. Completely unacceptable. The only reason I didn't say anything is because the car in front of me already reprimanded them thoroughly and I was exhausted and just wanted to get home. Get more staff or don't rub a drive thru. I've lived here now for 3 years and unfortunately this is the only drive-thru McDonald's in the area. There is another location inside a Wal-Mart now in the area but that's it. If you need to drive through make sure you take apart your order in the bag you receive. This place is ridiculously wrong 95% of the time. There are no regular staff faces at the windows because every time I go, it's another teenager or the slight chance someone older. I've complained about the missing items or mixed up orders. I mean very simple changes like switching bacon for sausage in the morning breakfast selections. And just this past weekend, I got one bagel with sausage and bacon and No egg! Gross sandwich ever. And they forgot the 2 hashbrown's for the combo meal, which I quickly corrected them on. Interesting that this location has not improved in the 3 years I've visited. Going inside is much better and of course easier to handle these mix-ups. But the whole idea of going through the drive thru is because I have no time to sit down inside and eat. Now any time I go, I need to check in the bag and open up the wrappers if I substitute anything or just have to order what is on the menu. Of course, every time I say this, I keep telling myself to stop eating this horrible food. But as we all know, we always go back but just less often. Update: November 2012 This place still needs help. Picked up breakfast this morning via drive thru and waited for fresh coffee to be brewed. Got home and the coffee was cold and heavily creamed flavoured. Waste of money once again. It just amazes me that this location doesn't care one bit about service. Poorly managed. Every order in drive thru wrong...example asked for a wrap with no cheese; got home and took a bite ..it was only cheese. I took it back and was pleasant and asked for my original order, kid at drive thru seemed pissed off taking the wrap back... This has happen a few times.. Lessoned learned. read more

In the world of White Rock youngsters, this McDonalds is the hub. Just your average, every-day Mickey D's with the same old menu. I make a point of eating this kind of fast food as little as possible, but nothing cures a Saturday morning hangover after a summertime beach party like a sausage 'n egg mcmuffin. On second thought, make that two. In a town where everything turns off the lights and locks the doors at six o'clock PM, naturally this 24-hour location is the highschool hangout. Daytime hours has this place packed with seniors sipping their coffees, but after the sun goes down, it's all kiddies causing mischief. I've definitely seen my fair share of shenanigans here in the wee hours of the morning, been questioned by police, you name it. Last time I was here, they were still blasting classical tunes outside around the back to keep the uptownies at bay. I haven't had many problems with the food that comes out of here, and given the choice between this one and South Point, I'd still choose Uptown. read more

This is a serious problem. I can no longer punish my body with McDonald's at odd hours of the night because every time I venture to this location I am swarmed by homeless people. Being homeless sucks, I get it, but there is a difference between holding a sign on the side of the street asking for money, and coming up to my car, yelling at me to lower my window, and then asking for money. On multiple occasions I have experienced homeless people walking up to the cars in front of mine in the drive through line, routinely going from window to window. Not only is this an incredible invasion of personal space, but they're rude about it! I have been ordering while a homeless man was literally standing next to the poll you order at, trying to talk over the lady taking my order. The problem doesn't start and end at the drive though, if you ever have the unfortunate chance to eat inside you get to experience workers getting into arguments with homeless people about taking water cups and filling them up with soda. You get to experience homeless people trying to sit with you so they can ask for money after striking up a conversation. You get to experience the relief of knowing there's a security guard in the corner of the restaurant. I am done coming to this place, whether it's lame or not, I do not feel safe eating here. Make sure you have your emergency kit equips with blankets, granola bars and water for 2 weeks in the back seat of your car. You're going to be here until Miley Cyrus writes a decent song... Yeah you might want to grab a book. Once you make your way to the window get ready for more excuses then a meth head selling a dvd player at a pawn shop. After another 20min of waiting, open your bag. You will soon come to realize half the contents of your bag will be missing... Yeah they didn't make it. So now you have to ask the sweaty frustrated 16 year old kid in the visor to get back in there and start making the second half of your plethora of an order. After all is done and you now have the two things you've ordered, you begin to drive off with a sense of accomplishment, reaching into your bag you feel a cold sweat come on. That sweaty frustrated 16 year old in the visor forgot to put your straw in your bag. Realizing you have to go back you begin to break down and cry while going 60 down 152nd. You begin to think "maybe it's just better to end it" as you brush that thought off you've realized you haven't been watching the road. You swerve left, narrowly missing the bus stop. A loud crash is heard and when you come to, you come to see that you've wrapped your car around a telephone pole. And your McDonald's is cold. So yeah I wouldn't recommend it. read more
