I have visited this location multiple times only to feel like I was waiting at a five star restaurant for the chef to go out and shave my meat off the cow. Wait time in drive thru is 10 minutes or better. Instead of keeping the flow of traffic moving, the drive through worker has the cars sit at the window until the order is ready instead of pulling the cars forward to the available wait spots. Cold Food, Cold Attitude - Never Again Came late at night with my daughter to grab something to eat, thinking it would be a quick, easy stop. The moment I pulled up to the drive-thru, I wasn't greeted -- no "hello," no "welcome," not even basic eye contact. It felt like I was bothering the two women working inside just by showing up and ordering food. Still, I kept it polite, didn't say anything out of line, and expected at least the food to make up for the lack of customer service. Wrong. When we got our order, the food was stone cold. Not lukewarm -- cold, like it had been sitting there for a while before they even handed it to me. I turned my car around, went back, and calmly explained what happened. Instead of apologizing or trying to make it right, one of them looked me dead in the face and said, "Oh, so you don't want it?" No offer to remake it, no concern for the fact that I was there with my child late at night, and certainly no professionalism. This isn't just bad service -- it's lazy, careless, and downright disrespectful. If you can't greet customers, can't serve fresh food, and can't be bothered to fix your mistakes, you have no business working in food service. There are plenty of places in this town where the food comes out hot, the staff treats you with basic respect, and you don't feel like you're inconveniencing the people you're paying. My boyfriend and I stop at this McDonald's a lot on our way out of town to go 4 wheeling. We stop at this location because the McDonald's is connected to a gas station. We get our gas, ice, drinks, food, everything we need for our road trip in one convenient stop. The McDonald's is alright with me. They have never messed up my order. This location has a drive thru, however I always go inside while my man pumps the gas. They have computer screen digital kiosks so you can place your order on that if you're social distancing or don't like people, or whatever other reason you may have. I usually just order with the human at the register. Yeah, this McDonald's might mess up sometimes. But all fast food restaurants do on occasion.
