I appreciated the ample veggie selection-- yes, you can get your solomillo here, but there's plenty of verduras, which is a nice change. And everything we sampled was tasty. The couscous with chicken comes topped with sweet, plump raisins, caramelized onions, and a sprinkling of nuts; the spinach croquettes are the very best croquettes I've had on this trip (and trust me, there have been a lot of croquettes); the falafel served in pita with tzatziki was the weakest (the falafel was good, the tazatziki was more plentiful than I would have liked); and the solomillo was served covered in a delicious mojo sauce and with three perfect potatoes. And the chocolate tart is dense and decadent without an overpowering sweetness.
I should say, the pacing at Paladar is far less Spanish- we showed up at 9, and by 915, the restaurant was nearly full (which is early for here), and people didn't seem to linger as they do in other tapas spots.
Dinner for 2 (4 tapas, and dessert) came to 17E.
