Seriously, it's fast food not nuclear physics. How can you place 4 hot mustard sauces in a bag and not think "I wonder if I forgot anything?" Say perhaps the Chicken McNuggets? We ordered 4 items. FOUR! They have screens that show them the orders. I worked fast food in my youth. We didn't have all this "technology" to help us. We still got an order wrong once in a while. HOWEVER it was nothing like these new age "restaurants" who can't read a screen and have the wits about them to actually check an order. And don't pull this garbage that they are busier now. Try working a sale on your most popular sandwich where you got two of them for $4 with no limits. Not to mention we didn't put out poorly put together items that look more like they used a blender to make them. I'm not looking for drizzled sauce all over a plate with garnish, however if I had tried to serve a sandwich looking the way ours arrived I would have had it shoved back at me and told to redo it. A. Have some pride in what you do. B. Check your work as to not upset customers with completely avoidable errors. C. Get a clue concerning customer service. I will be contacting your owners tomorrow to let them know how you failed and have failed in the past as well. Do better or make way for a business that cares. Finally, pay a living wage so your workers actually care about what they are doing. Fast food is no longer a business run by after school young adults. We pull up at the drive through with only 4 cars in front us before the speaker. We already know that we are in for a long wait at this location. The folks working here have no sense of moving fast. It's been 19 minutes and we still haven't done our order yet. I wonder if corporate monitors the drive through window times? We've seen at least 6 cars (around us, not in front) give up and park then walk in. Why have a drive through if it doesn't move at all? If my kids didn't want a happy meal so bad I wouldn't come. Worst drive thru service ever. After being in line for almost an hour I order my food and notice they got it wrong on the screen, I advised the drive thru lady it was wrong and she very rudely says just drive up we will fix it at the window. I get to the first window and explain to the young man that the lady got it wrong on the screen. He was nice and tried to correct it but when I get to the next window a different girl proceeds to hand me the wrong order. When I explained the issue she then says to me, "whatever I dont care" as she hands me my correct order. This is not the way to keep people coming back to your store. So I'm waiting in line right at my local McDonald's and then I get up to order my food and ask for EXTRA spicy mustard on my home style sandwich Because that stuff good. Anywho I ask for extra and then I pull up to the window and pay right. Then I go to the next window and get my food and then I drive home like a normal human being. NOPE. Wrong. Terrible service and unorganized staff. My son wanted a slushie and fries so bad tonight. Pulled up to a long drive thru line. My son was in his PJs (he's 14) so he didn't want to get out and risk running into school mates. One of the 2 lanes was down so the line moved slower than usual but hey, one line should mean no mistakes/confusion on who's order is who's at the window right! .... wrong.... order my sons stuff and I ordered an unsweetened tea. Paid the amount confirmed at the screen at window #1. Things went wrong at window #2 where we pick up the order. Employee proceeded to hand me 2 small drinks and a medium drink. I said no and told her what my order was. After waiting about 2-3 mins she asked me for my receipt. Okay here we go, how did things go wrong from window 1 to window 2. After another 2-3 mins she came back with the slushie and a bag. Hand it over to my son and looked back at her waiting for the rest of my order. She then asked me what else had I ordered. I told her my unsweetened tea. She grabs a medium drink from the front of her and said "oh this is your unsweetened tea". Pull off and drive about 2 mins down the street and took my first sip of the tea. IT WAS SWEET TEA!!! annoyed I turned around because 1) I cant drink sweet tea and 2) I wanted to bring up the disorganization to management. Now I have to park and go in which completely defeated the entire drive thru purpose. My son stayed in the car. Immediately as I walked in the place smelled like sweaty feet. The floors were wet and sticky. The fountain drink self serve area was a mess. I didn't want to stay and deal with the crowd inside so I just fixed my own drink and left. So I'm just going to preface this review as being nothing more than a suggestion to the drive through staff. My overall experience was perfectly fine otherwise. Decided to pick up breakfast out this morning - definitely did not not feel like cooking. Arrived just a little after 9 am. Young man on the speaker completed my order correctly after initially misunderstanding my order. I ordered a big breakfast times 2 add side bacon to each of them. He misheard me thought I said "with pancakes" and I corrected it with him and all was well. I expect it's difficult to hear on those headsets that they wear with all the inside noise and background vehicle noise, I couldn't blame him. Great recovery on his part! Clear payment window (1) - young lady asks if I'd like a receipt, I didn't need it - on to window 2. Thank you for asking if I wanted a receipt - sometimes I do - not necessarily all the time though. Always appreciate the offer! I pull up to window 2 and my order is coming right out. Great job guys - very quick and efficient process. I checked my order and the order came correct with the bacon added to each big breakfast but they were each missing their biscuit. Not a problem - I'm so easy going - I just tell the young lady and she politely indicates to pass the bag back to her for completion. No problem bag back in the window, quick fix turn around and I'm on my way home! Simple - everyone was, polite and friendly and I was pleased with my experience today. So my suggestion to the crew at McDonald's in Saginaw is the following: I understand that the young lady was requesting that I pass my bag back through for two reasons. 1....as a courtesy to replace the missing biscuits on the order and 2....to confirm that the missing biscuits were indeed missing and that it just wasn't an oversight on my part. I spent 4 years in the fast food industry back in high school and I can absolutely connect back to that same line of thinking - because I've been there, and more than once. If someone indicates that their order is missing one or two very small ticket items - just grab those little items, prepare for take out, bag and hand right out the window to the customer. There are plenty of folks out there who would interpret the bag take back as an indication that you were verifying the validity of their assertion that the biscuits were missing - in other words regarding them as being dishonest, calling them a "liar" (no, not me though, I work in customer service every day - I know how it gets that was not my position at all, as evidenced above). And if someone were to come through and intentionally claim to be missing a small item like a biscuit when in fact they really weren't - that's on them - but it wouldn't put McDonald's under or shut the front doors permanently. Your par levels on food stock are enormous (yes, I get the loss aspect too). Just a suggestion to create a more smooth, customer focused, and expedited recovery. If someone would have shared that with me when I were younger I don't know that I would have seen the ultimate reasoning behind that but it would have made sense. No, it took a lot of face-to-face, stressful, nail-biting, hair raising, whatever experiences working in a management capacity before I got that fully. All of the great positive feedback that we receive and EVEN MORE SO the negative feedback that we receive guides us in growing our businesses! Pretty cool stuff! I work for a nationally recognized men's retail clothing store and I love working with people - even the difficult folks with whom it sometimes is just so hard to connect - but it can be done, with anyone. Solving customer service issues is absolutely one of my personal favorite things to do - because I like to see happy people! I'm not the one to leave a review for anything even when the service is bad but i truly believe this deserves this review. So i pulled into the drive through at 11:54. i knew this was the time because i had just got done looking up their hours and looked at what time it was to make sure i could still order. So i'm sitting in the drive through waiting and waiting. No one comes on to take my order. That's weird they don't close till 12? I'm usually not the type of person to pull up so close to closing time because I work in food service and I know how it feels when a customer comes in last minute, it sucks. But you still serve them. So after about 3 minutes of waiting I pulled up to the drive through window. A girl walks up and first thing she says is "we're closed". I said that was incorrect because you close at 12 and it's now 11:57. I showed her my phone screen with the time on it and she looked like she was scrambling for an excuse in her head. So she closes the window and walks to the back. She comes back and then proceeds to tell me they "ran out of food". How do you run out of food? Id let that excuse slide if it was anywhere else but common you're mcdonald's. Plus there was a dude who ordered food who left right as i got there. So i asked to speak to her manager because the excuses were so ridiculous and I wanna know what kind of manager would let this slide. And mind you I'm not a "i need to see the manager now!!" type of person, i actually hate making a big deal out of things and am usually pretty chill with stuff but i just found this so not okay. I waited about 2 minutes until the manager finally comes around the corner from the back. She's holding her arms up and immediately giving me attitude. She opens the window and her first words are "what's your problem?". Ma'am my problem is your lack of ability to manage correctly and letting your employees think it's okay to lie to customers and close whenever they feel like it. So i told her i'd been waiting since 11:54 and she cuts me off. She goes "no i checked the cameras you pulled in at 11:59". WHAT? LOL how are you gonna sit here and tell me what time i got here when I was looking at the time on my phone as i pulled in? Also, even IF i did pull in at 11:59 technically y'all are still open so you should've still taken my order. So i then tried telling her no that's not correct and i would like to see that video footage with the time stamp and she slammed the drive through window, so hard it actually slightly broke and she had to adjust it and she stormed off. I've never experienced anything like this before from anywhere! I work in food service myself and my managers would NEVER act like that or allow us employees to not take someone's order for whatever reason! So in conclusion, don't come here unless you want to deal with rude staff and management. Also not the first time this location has been bad. One time they gave me someone else's order, it was completely off from what i ordered, they always have bad attitudes and the food doesn't even taste good. read more

I am not your normal, average person..not because I think I'm better than anyone else no but because I would rather STARVE than eat at McDonald's..UNTIL NOW!!! This place is a health hazard and the manager's not real concerned. I went through the drive-thru and ordered an ice cream cone. When I got to the window, the girl that ended up making the cone had gotten something on the side of her hand. Well, instead of wiping off or even better, washing her hands, she licked the side of her hand and then continued to grab a cone to make the ice cream. When she came to the window and tried handing me the cone, I asked to speak with the manager. When the manager showed up I asked for my money back and explained why. Instead of an apology and returning my money she continued to try and get me to accept another cone.
