Terrible, awful, and disgusting are a few words I would describe this location. This isn't the McDonald's I know and love. My friend and I ordered 2 20 piece nuggets, fries and one drink. It was $28.49 and we were expecting to get the 2 20 piece nuggets and the fries and the drink. But no, we got 19 nuggets, one large fry and one large fry box with half the fries in them, not to mention the service was awful, it sounded like the person taking our order did not care about anything. They really need some training here on how to wrap a burrito! I ordered a sausage breakfast burrito and it was only three quarters of the way filled and not even rolled. It was folded over and flat as a pancake! The service was quick for how many people were there, but please, get the district manager here to remind them about how to prepare these burritos - and not to skimp on what's inside of it! read more

Craving a meal at 3AM? McDonald's is Roxboro's only 24-hour business! As far as McDonald's go, this one is my favorite. I've been to plenty of McDonald's Restaurants and the food is typically very consistent. What is unique to each location however is the quality of the staff. In my experience, the staff at Roxboro's local McDonald's are attentive, friendly, and efficient. I've been to this location countless times and I've never had a bad experience. I don't know why I thought with new ownership this McDonald's would be any better than what it was before. Orders are always wrong the managers don't have a clue. Doesn't make sense to me that fast food workers want $15 an hour but they can't even get a simple Burger order right. There's no need for two drive-thru Lanes at this store. I went to this Roxboro location yesterday around 11:00 and ordered my order was correct this time but it seams like they have a lot of employees but your orders are not being processed in a timely manner not rushing cause I do want fresh food. I would like to know what McDonald's practice is as far as the head gear / net cause there was 4 managers all through food area's working but they were not wearing any hair nets / hats 3 females 1 male ??regular employees were wearing head gear. I went thru to get a Mocha Frappe and again the machine was not working this happens about 3 - 4 times a week or they are cleaning it at the busiest time of day which I feel should happen at night when they are not busy. Also the service at this McDonalds is horrible the employees stand around like they have no idea what they are doing. Most of them don't even say thank you or hello. The poor managers are always running around trying to fill orders which the employees should be doing. The other day the employees that were cooking the manager had to yell back at them and tell then they needed to talk to each other and let each other know what is needed. Last week they did not have the machine all week. Myself & my co-worker go there about every morning to get a Frappe and it does not work half the time. I pulled up to this McDonalds a little bit after 8pm, with no one in the drive through line. First, no one came on the speaker to take my order. I had to say "Hello?" several times before someone answered me. All I ordered was a large fry, and they asked me to pull up to the first window. There was no one at the window to take my payment. After waiting a minute, someone came by, opened the window, and asked if I needed something... yes? To pay for my order? I went to the next window to pick up my fries... no one at this window either. So I wait. And wait. I tried waving at the cashier who was standing at the front playing on her phone. I honked my car horn several times before someone came over and asked what I needed... I explained I had already paid and was just waiting for my fries. After another few minutes of waiting, someone finally brought the fries and apologized for the wait. I go to this store everyday, usually 2-3 times a day for coffee. Repeatedly I have ordered FRESH coffee. If I go through the drive thru they always tell me the coffee is fresh, I get it home and it's like mud. If I go inside, I request a fresh pot be made and they always do it but some of the staff have attitudes about having to do it. I am tired of asking for fresh coffee and getting the bottom of the pot that I am taking the two cups I just got back and complain as I have done many times before..I really love McDonalds coffee, so I will continue going there to get coffee and I will continue to take it back and complain..I also called the 1-800 number and complained about this and the service there at this particular store...just so you know, so if order anything fresh, be sure it's fresh before you leave the store, if not make them give you what you want... read more
