It's McDonalds. The layout, menu, decor, and staff uniforms are the same as every other McDonalds…read morein the country. The customer service is the same as any other McDonalds too, nothing brilliant and nothing terrible, just... the basics really. The food, as per the rest of the McDonalds menu is for the majority, bland and unsatisfying. The meat is dry and under-seasoned, the brioche buns used are far too sweet, and the heavily salted fries vary between hot and tasty, or slightly warm and stodgy. The drinks aren't bad. Fizzy drinks, tea, coffee, some slightly pricy juices, and some tasty and thick milkshakes. Their ice creams are good too. This particular branch is in the centre of a large retail and leisure park, and so surrounded by loads off parking spaces, which are free of charge, including disabled spaces. It also has a drive through with its own dedicated waiting/grill bays. I it's also one of the branches that is open both to eat in or take-away 24 hours a day.

This branch of Mcdonald's is located in Oldham near the Home bargains (or something like that) and…read moremassive Tesco. It is a drive through, and I think also 24 hours. If you fancy a burger before or after shopping at Tesco, this is your place although don't come here expecting nowhere to eat at the giant Tesco next store, as they is a cafe there too which will probably do a much better breakfast, which is served in buffet form and some cooked fresh. This Mcdonald's does the standard menu and does have outside seating however it is dotted with letter around this area and the crossing to the Tesco, so it should be cleaned. A few of my friends and I just got a portion of Large fries each and a drink, we all enjoyed our fries and mine were cooked to a good level and were a good tempreature. No rare Mcdonald's stickers were got in this visit, which is dissapointing to especially have no instant wins in 12 attemps and it really does seem stores seem to get the same ones, if this branch is anything to go by. As with most Mcdonalds stores it is fast food and not brought to your table, it seems Bury is the only store that does that. They was Monopoly boards ready to pick up on my visit. The store is on the smaller side but you shouldn't worry too much because it doesn't get too busy. The location could be better, it isn't very close to central Oldham and is only close really (walking distance) to a Tesco and a Home Bargains, or something along the lines of that, due to this, the sticker incident, the staff being nothing more than acceptable, the size of the store, I feel 2 stars is a fairer rating although I feel it is one of the better stores in Oldham, beating the one at the Central Retail Park in Royton.

This store is in Wigan city center, and a short walk from the Grand Arcade, although I can't help but think it would do better actually being in the shopping center its-self, which many Mcdonald's stores seem to do in other, larger towns, but they seem to avoid in smaller towns, but anyway it isn't a bad location but could be easily missed if you're not from the area, or don't know the area too well. Compared to other stores, this store doesn't have many facilities to suit a city center branch, it does have free wi-fi, but compared to other stores which are open 24-7, have tablets, Signature Collection, Mobile charging points and drive-thru, this is disappointing especially when even comparing to the nearest two branches on Morris Street and Gower Street. This store is definitely in need of some sort of refurb, to make it suit a city center branch but for now is basically a typical, average Mcdonald's, but this type of store they seem to be slowly phasing out around the country.

The store is accessible to disabled customers and mums with buggies, there is even a door opener on the outside to automatically open the door which is at wheelchair height. The disabled toilet is downstairs and there is plenty of seating downstairs too. Upstairs are the other toilets for men and ladies and a childrens seating area, as well as general seating. The stairs are quite steep though and often slippy where people have spilt drinks. The store was recently given a makeover and much of the seating is now bucket shaped leather seating which is quite low and not particularly comfortable or practical although it does looka bit more grown up than your average mcdonalds usually looks. The store is open from early morning to midnight most days and starts with the breakfast menu then moves on to the burger menu at 11:30am. Lots of balloons around and colouring easel for the kids - still very child friendly and clean.

They always seem to have loads of kitchen staff and few serving. Last time, we waited 15 mins for our burgers and when they arrived they were wrong but we were so annoyed and hungry we didn't complain as we didn't have time. I am quite patient and realise places aren't always perfect but i've had a few bad experiences here. The restaurant itself is large, with plenty of seating which are usually free because everyone in the place is still waiting for their food round the counter.
