This is supposedly a LARGE Iced Hazelnut Coffee
    Queen M.

I asked for a large hazelnut iced coffee and they gave it to me not filled up all the way. Mind you this coffee is $3.99 before tax and I go and ask "why is it not filled up all the way" and they said it comes out of the machine like that. Now for four dollars I expect it to be full.

Walking in we were greeted with friendliness and seated in an area that we liked. The hostess steered us to a talk that wasn't cold - since that was the one thing I mentioned. I hate being cold. :) I was lucky enough to order their cheeseburger from the happy hour menu. I think it is the same as the one on the regular menu. I had expected just a burger and was pleased to see it came with fries. Our server was prompt, helpful, and nice... the whole team was. The burger was a smash tyupe burger and I found the texture of the meat pleasing and tasty, just a bit of crust as some many people love on a smash burger. The condiments we fresh enough and had good flavor. When I say fresh enough I mean that the lettuce and onions didn't have a crunch to them, but they weren't mushy. Overall one of the better burgers so far. This venue would be good for anything from a family meal to some afterwork laughs or even a romantic dinner. The only reason it didn't get the fifth star is because of the condiments not being nice and crunchy. Solid place to eat and I would recommend.

It's off the beaten path and seems to be in a camping community. It's very rustic and old school cabin like inside. It's warm and welcoming. I went with the Bratwurst and it didn't disappoint. With still a long way to go and a very late arrival time I had to try the smoked steak French dip. When I got to my hotel I want to try it and have it the next day but I couldn't stop it was outstanding. If you have an opportunity to c visit don't pass it up.

But I am doing a series of reviews focusing on Standard Cheese Burgers... for burger kind that means the whopper with cheese. I ordered the whopper with cheese meal. Fries and a Coke rounded out the meal. I was pretty pleased with the taste and the "freshness" of the burger. The bun was not soggy, the condiments were distributed well and tasted good. For some reason all the places in my area struggle to find tomatoes that aren't mushy year round... the lettuce sometimes tastes like it came from a plastic bag, but it didn't this time. The burger was pretty good overall and I would order it again. The fries are not particularly good to me... but I feel like all the fried products at ALL Burger Kings have a generally disappointing flavor. In my opinion, this is a great place to grab a quick meal on your own or with your family, maybe some take out to run home or jump back on the interstate, or other time or money saving meal experience. It misses 5 stars because of the fried food flavor being subpar for me.

As such, expectations should be for food that's about 20-30% more expensive than you'd get elsewhere and the quality will likely vary based on who's standing in front of the grill/fryer. This review is based on my own experience. I ordered a "Tipping Bucket" (giant ice cream in a plastic bucket) on my phone for $18. I got a text with an ETA for my order and, in less time than expected, another text saying it was ready. Cool! Went to the pickup area with my kiddos and stood around for a couple minutes. As I wasn't seeing any ice cream buckets put up in the window, I let one of the workers know that I had a text that my order was ready. She apologized that their ice cream machine was broken, but they expected it fixed within half an hour or an hour. Oh no. With a swarm of kids around me, there would be no immediate ice cream gratification! She offers me a refund or an IOU. I take the IOU - frozen sugar will be had. Well, this is a five star review and the experience is pretty sideways at this point. That's where our waterpark hero SUSAN comes in! My kids aren't throwing a fit, but they do look disappointed. Susan leans over the counter and asks if they'd like to have an ICEE drink while they wait. Eyes light up, "thank yous" were exchanged, and my kids happily ran off to do a craft while they fixed the machine. What I appreciate most was that Susan offered. It really felt like she just wanted to make our day a bit more fun, and she totally nailed it. Oh yeah, and when we came back for that "Tipping Bucket," my whole family almost died it was so much soft serve deliciousness. Layers of cookies, candies, brownies, marshmallow, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and soft serve totally overwhelmed my whole crew to where we couldn't even finish. Yeah, the food is on the expensive side, but our dessert was more than reasonably priced for the enjoyment we got out of it. Thanks Susan for saving the day!
