On this visit I discovered their chicken wings, which have to be the best chicken wings I've had in the UK, and I'm struggling to remember any wings sampled in the U.S. that would beat them! The secret is definitely in the coating - I'm just gutted I didn't discover them sooner! Their southern fried chicken burger is my favourite burger from here, however unfortunately on this occasion they served it with blue cheese on top rather than the regular cheese I asked for. No problem though, they were more than happy to make a fresh burger which was just as delicious as always. The Surf, Bird & Turf Combo and BBQ Ribs are also great choices. My biggest plus about this place though is their fries; the best fries I've ever eaten. Consistently awesome on every visit, beautifully crispy and well-seasoned. Big 5 stars from me as I've had 5 fantastic meals here, and they have Brahma on tap which is a bonus.

My waitress was a wee star, I just thought she was brilliant at her job and she gave brilliant customer service and she's the reason for 3 rather than 2 stars, I would have given 4 but I want to give them something to work towards, as the food must be as good as the customer service. I would return again but would have no hesitation sending back if I had the same bread issues again. They should really think of getting a local baker to produce their bread rather than buying bulk from the catering supplier.

Nice and reasonable for drinks, although slightly more expensive than 'up town' there's usually an artist on a Saturday night and if it's full there's a really good atmosphere. The restaurant is bloody lovely and at the moment they are doing an all you can eat Italian buffet which is properly worth ago at for £10 a head. The Bridge also caters for parties and weddings alike and bank holidays are super duper fun, there's always some sort of entertainment. Now be warned, this is a valley pub however well they dress it up and although the security team are shit hot, there's guaranteed to be at least two punch ups. Offenders get dragged through the crowd so be careful where you stand or like me you'll end up losing a shoe! The decor and layout of the pub is nice but the beer garden is something else. Decking and a huge lawn goes hand in hand with huge crowds as soon as the sun comes out. Everyone knows everyone in this pub so if your an outsider you will feel like it!
