Coffee had a touch to much SF caramel for me but the cold brew was good. Not acidic or bitter. At first I wasn't impressed only because it seemed like a lot of time passed before our sandwiches were ready. We were a little pressed for time because we were going on the brewery tour in about 25 minutes. Once we received our sandwiches we went outside at a table because my husband said it was smokey and something was burning his eyes. I didn't notice. I have to tell you my Hot Stuff was fantastic and definitely worth the wait. The English muffin homemade. It was toasted perfectly but doughy on the inside. The cheddar melted, bacon crisp, egg a nice medium. It was messy from the hot honey but it was pure heaven to my taste buds. I'm going to dream about this sandwich for days. Second of all when you're doing selections it doesn't give you all the itemized preferences so you have to order their specialty and then you can't delete from their recipes! Okay why do they have inside registers if you're not manning them! Why can't a person take the orders for specific especially when 2-3 are standing around or training. We were walked past numerous open booths and put in a corner where you had to squeeze past 2 other tables where people were seated to get to it. When those guests left, they started sweeping the floors and kicking up dirt while we were sitting there eating. They cleaned the tables (not the chairs) and then sat the chairs upside down on top of clean new place settings. I started with the salad bar (an extra $6.99 charge to my meal). The photos on the menu showed crispy chicken. I get up there and it's three (SMALL) 6"x12" pans with browning wilted lettuce, spinach, and spring mix. Nowhere was there chicken or any sort of special toppings that resembled what was shown in the photos. My main was the vegetarian Benedict. Avocado and tomato on a toasted muffin topped with eggs and hollandaise sauce. I asked for grits as my side which was a choice on the menu. I put my butter on the grits and it never melted. I noticed and touched them and they were cold. My hollandaise sauce had 0 flavor and was like one of those packets you get from the store where you just need to add water. Even the eggs were flavorless. The avocado was browning and had a weird texture. I had asked for a little extra hollandaise to try and offset. Later I found I was charged a fee of $2.06 for modifying the meal but nothing was brought up about an up-charge when I had made the request. My friend had gotten carrot cake and icecream. The menu had said add a scoop of icecream to any slice of pie or cake for $2.99. We were charged $3.99. Every item on the bill had an additional "fee" added to it. When asked, they said that was the price - but it did not reflect the menu prices. Save yourself the money and frustration, and go across the street to McDonald's or Wendy's. It's a cleaner atmosphere and you get what you pay for there.
