The service here is almost always rude, this is one of the only McDonald's close to where I live so we go here a lot. You usually end up having wait (not always a long time) for whatever food you order. Worst service ever. Dining room is open at 5am Monday-Thursday, yet they had it locked at 7am and were utilizing drive thru only. The drive thru line wasn't too long but I soon realized they were only taking the orders of people in the second lane. So we were all forced to back up and go to the second line. If there was an option for no star, that's what this place would get! Service started out fine. Then proceeded to fix our drinks. The machine was out of ice. I asked the employee if they had ice. She said no, they were out of ice. I pointed to a machine that was full of ice and asked "what is that?"; Another employee was standing there and made the remark "it's a machine". I replied a machine full of ice. The first employee made a hateful remark "I said we were outta ice!".. words were exchanged. Manager NEVER came out! Then our food was ready and it was slammed on the counter in to go bags yet we were eating inside. The manager, very hatefully asked if we got our milk. I said no. She put it on the counter and I jerked it away. No, I did not jerk from her - just off the counter. Of course, the manager had to make the comment that I didn't have to jerk it from her? Couldn't let me walk away, she had to act like the teenagers! Sat down and a third employee brought 4 trays (I guess each one of us was gonna use our own tray) and said "I'm so sorry". No, not a nice way.. being very sarcastic. I pushed them away and said no thanks. We finished our meal and left. Lots of issues here... I'm the customer. Whether I'm rude or not, I simply asked for ice? When you see a bin full of ice, you are curious to know why they are out when that was clearly full. I don't work there, I don't know what it's used for?? There was absolutely no reason for the second employee to hatefully remark "it's a machine"! SHE was in the wrong! Once I replied, the first one threw her two cents in and made it worse. And finally instead of the manager keeping her mouth shut, she acted just like the teenagers! All the rudeness is the very reason they are advertising "Now hiring"! Yes I was rude. Could I have been nicer? Yes. Did they have any reason to be so disrespectful?? NO! I asked two questions? This morning I ordered two egg mvmuffins from drive through then received them without the ham on them. Return them to the manager where by she tried to place the ham on both and give back. I had taken a bite from one and opened the other. This is a health code violation. Watch out if you eat there. read more

When you go to McDonald's in Pontotoc if you want a milkshake ice-cream or frappe they never have it. They always say the machine is broke down or they're not serving it at this time. I get so ill and frustrated going there because of lazy employees that don't want to do their complete job. All they want to do is serve burgers fries and soft drinks and that's it they don't want to go through the effort of fixing someone a milkshake or a frappe. If you don't want to do your job then set your ass at home because you're not doing worth a s*** at McDonald's in Pontotoc. I ordered a fish sandwhich feb 6th 2019 at pontotoc mcdonalds. After paying for my meal i asked for tarter sauce for my fish sandwich and was told it would cost me extra for something i just paid for! After being lied to i asked to speak with a general manager which they denied to give me the name of the G.M. i took the order back and got a refund. I also asked the crew who their names were and their clock # which they also denied to give me. I can say for a FACT ILL NEVER EAT AT PONTOTOC MCDONALDS or any affiliated mcdonalds with the pontotoc store. This is by far the worst service and rudest people at the pontotoc McDonalds location. Ill make sure someone handles the employees who denied me any and all the information i asked for. I also called them and recorded the conversation i had with the employees one man one girl manager. This establishment should be incredibly embarrassed for their treatment to individuals who have service animals. My father-in-law walked in with his prosthetic leg visibly showing and his highly trained and vested service dog. The incredibly rude "manager" screamed across the restaurant that he couldn't have his dog inside. My father-in-law calmly explained that this was his service dog and under federal law, he could in fact, have his service animal with him. ALSO, it is technically illegal if he is VISIBLY disabled for her to ask if his dog is a service dog. This individual decided she was going to threatened call her "ownership" and the cops. They then decided it would be a good idea to talk negatively of my veteran father-in-law while his wife stood by. Threatening to call the cops of a paying patron veteran with a service animal. Absolutely disgusted by you and your "ownership". The attempts made by anyone to reach out to him have been absolute bullshit. I wish and pray you get all the negative attention that this can muster up so that no one with half a brain visits your establishment. read more
